Adam was a hybrid member of the human race created by the First Civilization. During the final years of Those Who Came Before, the First Civilization decided to create two human beings to hold between them the DNA sequence of their race, in order to preserve their DNA. He was a distant ancestor of Clay Kaczmarek[1] and Desmond Miles.[2]
Adam and another human named Eve, both able to resist the effects of Pieces of Eden due to the First Civilization DNA in their genes which granted them the lack of the neurotransmitter in most humans, rebelled against their creators. They stole one of the First Civilization's "Apples of Eden" and attempted to escape Eden, before being stopped by an unknown force.[1]
