The Burial Mounds were a burial site outside Melun, Melunois for the Elgring Clan's dead.
History
In the late 9th century, the Viking jarlskona Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan visited the burial mounds and met with Viking Jarl Sigfred, after Toka Sinricsdottir and Eivor arrived in Melun. At the burial mounds, Sigfred paid his respect to his late brother and Toka's father, Sinric. Sigfred met with Eivor and discussed the Frankish problem. Angered, Sigfred let out his rage against the Franks for their disrespect and cowardice against Sinric. Nevertheless, Eivor agreed to help Sigfred and his warriors against the Franks and soon, they left to further discuss their plans.[1]
