Eysa (Runic: ᛅᚢᛋᛅ) was an Isu who later was remembered in Norse mythology as a the daughter of Surtr and the princess of Múspellsheimr.

Mythology

Eysa is only briefly mentioned in Norse lore as the daughter of Glöð, who in myth was the consort to Logi rather than Surtr's bastard son.

Biography

In the prelude to the Great Catastrophe, Odin's son Baldr sought to win Eysa's hand in hopes their marriage could bring peace to the turbulent Nine Realms.

Behind the scenes

Eysa is a mythical figure introduced in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla's 2022 downloadable expansion Dawn of Ragnarök, where she is voiced by the Canadian actor Amber Goldfarb.
