This is an ongoing discussion.Where does the date "16 August 1503" come from? There doesn't seem to be any source for it. If anything, the dialogue from the actual memory disproves it, as it indicates that "Ascension" happens on the same day as "Requiem". The Brotherhood novel also supports this as it describes Ezio immediately heading to the Castel Sant'Angelo after receiving the intel from Machiavelli's informant.
