"Caribbean Sage" won't be a valid option since Thomas Kavanagh himself was a Sage in the Caribbean as was Bartholomew Roberts. A conjectural name has to be refer t a specific trait of the individual that distinguishes them from others in their group. Wasn't this just Kavanagh. We already have a page for him. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 08:24, November 20, 2018 (UTC)
- Yeah, I'm wondering this myself and whether the dates given here are just wrong. However, it's quite clear that this is meant to be individual who founded the Guardians of the Observatory. I don't believe that those bottles described Kavanagh doing so, right? Either way, this article needs a different name. "16th century Sage" is way too imprecise as a conjectural name. - It's not Kavanagh. Kavanagh wasn't born until over a century later. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 08:56, November 20, 2018 (UTC)
- I found the reference of this Sage in the 19th letter of Kavanagh, he said that a Sage 150 years before him asked the Taino to protect the observatory. So 1673-150=1520Francesco75 (talk) 09:18, November 20, 2018 (UTC)
- I forgot about him. Maybe rename this to Caribbean Sage. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 09:31, November 20, 2018 (UTC)
- Second thought is there any evidence this isn't the same as the Maya Sage?Lacrossedeamon (talk) 09:33, November 20, 2018 (UTC)
- Maybe but it could be also a spanish conquistador, we don't have much information. Also the maya Sage could be alive 2000 years BC, so it's difficult to know if he is the same Sage.Francesco75 (talk) 09:47, November 20, 2018 (UTC)

"Caribbean Sage" won't be a valid option since Thomas Kavanagh himself was a Sage in the Caribbean as was Bartholomew Roberts. A conjectural name has to be refer t a specific trait of the individual that distinguishes them from others in their group. Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 10:31, November 20, 2018 (UTC)
