Eivor stands in front of Wocig's cave

Wocig was a cave in western Hamtunscire, above Chippenham. It was one of the sites that held one of the tablets that are part of the Treasures of Britain.

History[edit | edit source]

In the 870s, Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan ventured inside the cave and maneuvered her way within the cavern. She soon found herself in a room, where a tablet lied atop a pedestal behind a gated entrance. However, Eivor found a way inside the pesdestal's room, recovered a whetstone tablet, and soon left the area.[1]
