The Thousand Eyes was a secret merchant guild founded by Reda during Antiquity and by the Middle Ages had spread to many parts of the globe. Its members, consisting exclusively of orphans working for him, could be distinguished by the yellow-orange scarves they wore. During the 9th century, the guild had a presence in Ravensthorpe where they offered rare items and contracts to the Viking Eivor Varinsdottir using opal as a form of currency.[1]

The organization's name and color scheme might be based on ThousandEyes, a 2010 network intelligence company. Alternatively, it could be based on the World of Warcraft guild of the same name.
