Siberia is a region of Northern Asia, spanning from the Ural Mountains to the Pacific Ocean.[1] The entirety of the region was progressively conquered by Russia throughout the 17th century.[2] It was also the home of the Sikhirtya tribe, a Mongolic people from a coastal region known as "Bjarmaland", the birthplace of Ljufvina Bjarmarsdottir of the Augvald dynasty.[3]

The Russian Assassin Nikolai Orelov traversed Siberia on two important missions: in 1908 to Tunguska and in 1917 to Krasnoyarsk. The Tunguska mission had the objective to retrieve the Imperial Staff of Eden from a Templar facility before it was destroyed. Orelov and his two Assassin companions were ultimately unable to remove the Piece of Eden from the facility in time. Nikola Tesla broadcasted an immense burst of electricity into the facility and the Piece of Eden, creating one of the largest explosions in known history, obliterating the facility and leaving Orelov as the only survivor.[4]
