The Rod of Asklepios was a legendary staff believed to have belonged to Asklepios, the Greek god of medicine, himself. Fittingly, the staff featured a snake wrapped around the shaft, the bulbous head as well as the tail of the staff glowing with an eerie light as it was wielded.
During the Peloponnesian War, the staff was in the possession of Iokaste, the Sage of the Worshippers of the Bloodline branch of the Cult of Kosmos. The Spartan misthios Kassandra took the staff for herself after defeating Iokaste.[1]
