The Kanien'kehá:ka Assassin Ratonhnhaké:ton, also known as Connor, wore a set of robes which could be dyed at general stores in various color schemes.

Assassin robes[edit | edit source]

Ratonhnhaké:ton wearing his Assassin robes

Connor's robes were originally worn by the British Assassin turned traitor Duncan Walpole, before being taken by Connor's paternal grandfather, Edward Kenway, before they were handed to the Colonial Assassins' Mentor Achilles Davenport, who modified them and bequeathed them to Connor.[1] They robes consisted of a dress uniform with the upper body featuring a hood with a beaked tip. The hood was connected to the robes, which featured blue lining along the torso.

The lower part of the robes were layered at the back. Around the waist was a thin red sash fastened with an Assassin insignia, as well as a belt holding two pistol holsters and a pouch. Footwear consisted of brown boots with leggings that extended past Connor's knees.[2]

Customization[edit | edit source]

The robes could be dyed at the general stores found in Boston, New York and the Frontier. While Connor could buy all the dyes at every general store, the price would change depending on whether he was in the city close to where the dyes were made.[2]

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • In Assassin's Creed III (2012), Ratonhnhaké:ton's robes always appears in their default color during cutscenes even if the outfit is sporting a colony's dye. The fact that the lower trim of the outfit show its dyed color instead indicates that this is an unintentional programming error. Non-default outfits show properly during cutscenes however. This was fixed in most versions of Assassin's Creed III Remastered (2019), other than the Nintendo Switch port.
