The Olouros Fortress

The Olouros Fortress was a military fort located within the Erymanthos Peaks in Achaia, Greece.

History[edit | edit source]

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the place at the request of the pirate queen Xenia, whose crew had been ambushed and taken to the fort. Kassandra infiltrated the fort, killing the polemarch and the captains stationed at the fort, as well as burning the war supplies located within the fort while looking for Xenia's mapmaker, Anaximander.[1]

Kassandra also found a letter that led her to Nestor, a member of the Order of the Storm[2], as well as the mercenary Aias the Clean, who was meeting with the polemarch of the fort. Kassandra subsequently slew them.[3]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

The name of the fortress in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey references the ancient Achaean town of Olouros.
