The Jotun Helmet was a helmet forged by the jötnar, the ice giants of Jötunheimr in Norse mythology. Despite its crude design, the helmet could still protect its wearer even in the most frigid of Realms.

In Eivor Varinsdottir's visions of Odin's travels throughout Svartálfaheimr, the All-Father collected this helmet from defeating Ljethr, a member of Suttungr's Outriders. He would also collect the other pieces from the same armor set, by defeating the other members of the spy group.[1]
