Jamie MacArthur was a Scottish tradesman who lived in southern Ventre de Paris, France.
Biography[edit | edit source]
Working in trade, Jamie soon found himself in a relationship with a young French woman named Bella. Together, they planned to marry but faced opposition from her father. Despite the love letters, Bella saw no vision of them together while Jamie received a letter from her father stating to cease their relationship and how she can find someone else more worthy. Angry, he crumpled up and began to formulate a plan to be with Bella.[1]
Learning how her father did errands for his mother and household, Jamie intercepted a list from the grandmother and changed an address to a local butcher. Afterwards, Jamie raced to the butchery and knocked out the owner. Dressing up in his garb, he waited for Bella's father. Once the father arrived, Jamie murdered and dismembered his body. Grabbing a bag, Jamie put the bones in a bag and tossed in a nearby river. He later consoled Bella while his disappearance was noted after many days.[1]
Incarceration[edit | edit source]
After some days, the French Assassin Arno Dorian found the bag and followed the clues, which led to Bella's house and him interviewing her and Jamie. After further inspecting the other locales, especially Jamie's home, he deduced that Jamie was the culprit. After Arno accused Jamie, Jamie admitted to killing Bella's father for standing in their way. In the end, he was taken to jail by Arno.[1]
