Bella was a French woman who lived with her father and grandmother in southern Ventre de Paris.
Biography[edit | edit source]
As a young woman, she garnered a lot of attention for marriage, but fell in love with Scottish tradesman Jamie MacArthur. Writing love letters to each other, Bella and Jamie's relationship grew but was halted by father, who saw Jamie as a lesser suitor. In a letter to Jamie, she wrote she loved him but knew of her father's disapproval. However, within a few days, her father disappeared after going shopping for his mother. Scared, Bella barely ate and slept as she worried for her father.[1]
However, the French Assassin Arno Dorian came to Bella's house and interviewed her after finding a bag of human remains, possibly of her father. Bella informed him of his errands and Arno followed up on this clue. Afterwards, she saw Arno return as he rightfully accuse her lover, Jamie, of being the murderer. After Jamie confessed, Arno took him to jail.[1]
