Alexis Sentenac (born 1975) is a French comic book artist.[1] He was the colorist for the second and third volumes of the Les Deux Royaumes published bande dessinée Assassin's Creed, Aquilus and Accipiter.

Early life and career[edit | edit source]
Alexis Sentenac completed a Bachelor in Science before enrolling in a graphic design school. He worked as a graphic designer for nine years, during which he met members of the Gottferdom studio. Through Jean-Luc Istin, he connected with writer François Debois and contributed to the second volume of the series Les Contes de Brocéliande, published in 2005. Sentenac later collaborated with Eric Corbeyran and illustrated Les Hydres d'Arès, published by Delcourt in 2007.[2]
Assassin's Creed[edit | edit source]
Alexis Sentenac worked as the colorist for the second and third volumes of the Les Deux Royaumes published Assassin's Creed bande dessinée, Aquilus (released in November 2010) and Accipiter (released in November 2011). The series written by Éric Corbeyran and illustrated by Djilalli Defali, Sentenac succeeded Raphaël Hédon in this role. The Slings & Arrows negatively reviewed the second volume and noted on Sentenac's art calling it, "very basic colouring" and that "[Sentenac's] lack of imagination results in page after page of dull brown and grey washes."[3]
