Goll was a Norse thegn of her clan in West Francia She served under previous Viking jarl Sigfred.
Biography[edit | edit source]
Not much is known about Goll, except that she worked her way up as a warrior to be a thegn under Sigfred's command. It appeared that she also worked alongside Sigfred's niece, Toka Sinricsdottir.[1]
The Siege of Paris[edit | edit source]
During Charles the Fat's campaign in West Francia, Goll worked and followed Sigfred, alongside Toka and their ally, jarlskona Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan. However, Goll took a strong dislike to Eivor's presence and work, due to Eivor's multiple interactions with Frankish royal members, such as King Charles, Count Odo of France, and Queen Richardis.
