I wanted to ask you something. Which is... what's your name? This article title is conjecture. Although the article subject is canon, no official name for it has been given. |
An admiral of the French Navy (died 1717) was raiding Inuit villages in 1717 when he was accosted by the pirate Alonzo Batilla and killed in battle.
Biography[edit | edit source]
In March 1717, the admiral and his fleet were plundering an Inuit village located in the most northern parts of the Arctic Ocean. The pillaging came to a stop when the pirate Alonzo Batilla interfered and engaged battle. The admiral ordered his ships to attack Batilla, but the pirate sunk all of his vessels.[1]
He then fled the fight by maneuvering through the ice field, dropping mines along his way and managing to temporarily lose his pursuer, but Batilla eventually rediscovered and cornered him. Then tables suddenly turned when the pirate hunter Alvaro revealed himself and trapped Batilla inside the ice maze. Although the odds were against him, the pirate managed to sink both ships, killing both the French admiral and Alvaro.[1]
