The Foteinos was a legendary bow paired with a set of armor inspired by and dedicated to Helios, the personification of the sun in Greek mythology.
Description[edit | edit source]
Radiant in its reds and golds, the limbs of the bow were adorned with the sharp-rayed likenesses of the god's face. Bearing this bow, it was believed, one could even succeed in hitting the sun with their arrows, like people of legends.[1]
History[edit | edit source]
The bow was made available to the Spartan misthios Kassandra via an Animus modification by Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relived her memories in 2018.[1]

| Many legends speak of those who shot arrows directly at the sun. With this bow in hand, those legends don't seem as far-fetched. | ||||
