Cyrene's Spear

Cyrene's Spear was a legendary spear which was believed to have been forged in the 5th century BCE, for Battos, the founder of the Greek colony of Cyrenaica and the city of Cyrene. Once lost, it was found in the mountains of Cyrene around the 1st century BCE.

By 47 BCE, the spear had ended up in the possession of the Balagraean healer Praxilla, who gave it to the Medjay Bayek of Siwa after he rescued her and several townsfolk from Melitta and her followers in the Shrine of Whispers.[1]
