At some point, Idrissi and fellow operative Hamza Belkacem were tasked to investigate Marrakech for the capture of Joel Eastman, the son of deceased Assassin Geoff Eastman. The two managed to find Joel at the Jemaa el-Fnaa at night and caught sight of him delivering a message to Chafiq Elharar, a local stall owner. When they confronted Joel, he immediately fled, causing Belkacem to pursue him while Idrissi was tasked to apprehend the stall owner. Yet, he ignored Hamza and instead joined Belkacem in pursuing Eastman, but the two soon lost track of Eastman. Upon splitting up, Idrissi later found Joel, who was able to disarm and shoot Idrissi in defense. Thus, Eastman was able to escape while Idrissi was aided by his fellow operative until the paramedics arrived. In Hamza's report, Idrissi was noted to be in severe condition.[1]
