Hana was a Japanese girl and the daughter of Tsuyoshi who lived in Yuasa, Kii during the late Sengoku period.

Biography

In the 1580s, Hana, her father Tsuyoshi, and their fellow villagers surrounded the English wanderer Eamon Hathaway in shock as he showed them strange symbols and inquired whether they had seen any location with the same designs. In exchange of their help, he showcased his wood carvings of a bear and a jaguar, which he gave to Hana. However, his questioning was cut short upon being confronted by Fujibayashi Naoe and her ally Yasuke. After a tense discussion, Eamon soon offered to show the kids a wooden elephant carving, making his escape from Naoe and Yasuke. Afterwards, Hana and Tsuyoshi returned home until a bleeding Nirmala entered and held Tsyuoshi hostage. Having tracked her blood trail, Naoe and Yasuke appeared moments later and demanded his release, but Nirmala stabbed him near the heart and escaped. Hana initially despaired until Naoe and Yasuke tended to Tsuyoshi to prevent fatal blood loss while other villagers came to assist.
