Yuasa

Yuasa is a town in southeastern Kii, Japan.

In 1582, the Kakushiba ikki member and shinobi Fujibayashi Naoe met with Junjiro, who traveled to the town to taste its infamous soy sauce. However, Junjiro also wanted help to make the perfect soup for his former mentor Sorin, who was on his pilgrimage through Kii. He asked Naoe for ingredients that coincided with the sea and the meaning of "green". Venturing further into town, Naoe found a local merchant and bought the ingredients spring onion and konbu. Bringing them back to Junjiro, Naoe assisted in his cooking the perfect soup for Sorin before leaving.^[1]
