The Winds of War was a kusarigama that Fujibayashi Naoe obtained in 1582. That year, Naoe and fellow Kakushiba ikki member Yasuke confronted and killed Shinbakufu member Hara Joken at Kōfuku-ji in Yamato, retrieving the weapon from his personal effects.[1]
