Theodotus of Chios (died c. 42 BCE) was the rherotic tutor of the Pharaoh Ptolemy XIII.

Prior to serving Ptolemy XIII, Theodotus served as an advisor to Ptolemy XII Auletes alongside Pothinus and Ganymedes. After his death, he and the others inducted the Gabiniani Lucius Septimius into their inner circle.[1]
