Throughout his life, Edward Kenway amassed a wardrobe of outfits including multiple robes, coats, and several sets of crafted armor. These were either acquired during his career as a privateer and pirate captain, purchased from general stores across the West Indies, or crafted using the pelts of various wildlife found throughout the Caribbean. Edward stored his outfits in the captain's cabin of his ship, the Jackdaw and in the basement of his manor on Great Inagua.
In Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, several outfits are available to those who complete certain challenges or meet specific criteria, which are listed below. Once an outfit is unlocked and equipped, it will alter Edward Kenway's appearance. Edward could change his outfits in the cabin of his ship, the Jackdaw; at any general store throughout the West Indies; or in the basement of his manor on Great Inagua.

Edward stored his outfits in the captain's cabin of his ship, the Jackdaw and in the basement of his manor on Great Inagua.[1]

Later, via Animus mods, other outfits and legacy robes of notable Assassins were made available to research analysts reliving Edward's memories through Abstergo Entertainment's Animus sessions.[1]
