Osthyrd was an Anglo-Saxon farmer in England during the 9th century.

History[edit | edit source]

Osthyrd lived on a farm in Cambridgeshire together with her husband Sebbi and their children. Much to the annoyance of her, Sebbi bickered daily with his brother Alduini in the house next door.

When Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan came across the bickering brothers she was asked which of the two brothers was right. After a bit of investigating in both houses and talking to Osthyrd, Eivor decided only a fresh start could make the brothers stop fighting, and thus set the houses ablaze.[1]
