Redice Studio is a South Korean webtoon studio, best known for creating and publishing Solo Leveling.[1]

History[edit | edit source]

In April 2021, a new Assassin's Creed webtoon, to be published by Redice Studio, was announced alongside eight other projects. Game Informer reported that the comic would expand on the story of Edward Kenway following the events of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. It would also be part of Ubisoft's new collection of 'Chronicles', new adventures featuring familiar faces.[2] Ubisoft's official site noted that the webtoon would consist of three seasons of 50 episodes each.[1]

On 12 April 2023, the webtoon was officially named Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple and the first six episodes were announced to release on 24 April.[3] Serialized on the Webtoon platform, the series ran for nearly three years until 17 March 2026, comprising 151 episodes, which were released weekly.[4]
