Saint Peter (Greek: Πέτρος; Latin: Petrus; c. 1 CE – 64/68 CE), born Shimon bar Yonah (Hebrew: שמעון בר יונה) and later known as Simon Peter, was one of Jesus of Nazareth's Twelve Apostles who would later become the early Roman Catholic Church's leader. He featured prominently in the Bible's Gospels and the subsequent Acts of the Apostles.[1]
Biography[edit | edit source]
At some point in time, Peter came into possession of a Staff of Eden and used it to become the first leader of the Christian religion and the first Pope of the Roman Catholic religion.[2]
Peter was later crucified upside down in the Circus of Nero in Rome around the year 67 CE. The Basilica di San Pietro was built over the site to commemorate him.[3]
Legacy[edit | edit source]
In 2012, Clay Kaczmarek collected details on Peter's life while Abstergo Industries held him captive at their Animus Project laboratory in Rome. He then hid the information within the Animus 1.28 in Glyph puzzles for his successor, Desmond Miles, to find.[4] Sometime in early September,[5] Desmond solved the puzzle set titled "Instruments of Power", in which Peter was included in the list of historical individuals revealed to have wielded a Staff of Eden.[4] That same year, Abstergo's Project Legacy included Peter in a mnemonic set.[6]
