That year, fellow [[Japanese Brotherhood of Assassins|Kakushiba ''ikki'']] member [[Fujibayashi Naoe]] was tasked by the priest [[Shin'nyo]] with eliminating eight [[kabukimono]] leaders, including one known as [[Ember]].
