War Sword

The War Sword was a sword used in the 5th century BCE Greece.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra found this sword in the inventories of blacksmiths and looted it from bodies and chests during her travels throughout Greece.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
The War Sword is a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey which shares the same model as those of the Sosipatros' Blade and the Forged Cleaver of the Isu, two other weapons in the same game. These are all recycled models from Dust-Biter, a weapon from Assassin's Creed: Origins.
The sword is also visually very similar to the Spider Sword in another Ubisoft game, Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. Notably, the design of this sword is based on the Congolese ikakalaka, also known as the konda-sword.
