Vostok Station is a Russian scientific research station located in Princess Elizabeth Land, Antarctica. The station and Lake Vostok, atop which it sits, were both named after the Sloop-of-war, the Vostok.[1]

In February 2012,[2] the station's scientists completed the longest ever core sample from below the lake the station sits upon. The sample taken dated back 400,000 years, something which interested the Templar-governed Abstergo Industries as something that could help them learn abut the history of the Isu.[3]
