The Vineyard Canyon is a canyon which constitutes the northeastern region of Lesbos, Greece. A huge vineyard, it stretched from Fisherman's Bay in the south to connect with the Aegean Sea in the north, using most of the canyon. Notable landmarks include the Temple of Kybele and the Mantamados Peak.
The vineyard employed dozens of workers and had five silos and two residences, with several smaller buildings.[1]
During the Peloponnesian War, the region's workers were tended to by Qamra, a healer. While the Spartan misthios Kassandra was passing through the region, Qamra asked for her help, and she agreed.[2]
