This article is about the Italian composer. For other uses, see Vincenzo.

Vincenzo Galilei (3 April 1520 – 2 July 1591) was an Italian late Renaissance lutenist, composer, and music theorist. He was the father of astronomer and physicist Galileo Galilei, and lute virtuoso and composer Michelagnolo Galilei.

In 2012, he was included in a mnemonic set in Abstergo Industries' Project Legacy. The set Vincenzo was a part of, entitled "Composers," also included Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina, Adrian Willaert, and Josquin des Prez.[1]
