Vahid Ahmedi being executed during the assault on Masyaf

Vahid Ahmedi (died 1189) was a member of the Levantine Brotherhood of Assassins during the Third Crusade.

In 1189, Vahid was inside Masyaf castle when a Templar force captured the fortress. He was taken prisoner and lined up along with Raşit El Zübeydi and Fahd El Fehmi, before being executed by Haras in an attempt to make the Assassin Mentor Al Mualim reveal the location of an Apple of Eden.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

Vahid is an Arabic name meaning "unique, peerless, the one." Ahmedi is derived from the name Ahmad, meaning "highly praised."
