Memories project

Hi Vasta,

Welcome to the memory project team. I notice you mentioned to War that you have new memories to add which is brilliant, and thanks for fixing up some of my errors too. Just to prevent us working on the same memories at the same time, i have the remainder of Sequence 4 memories compiled already, and will add these before the end of the day. Hey Vatsa, sorry to badger you, but i was wondering something. Seeing as you are the dude who knows what is what on the memory pages, I was going to ask you that lately I have been trying to abolish the Description section on ACII memory pages that have Dialogues, so that they match most of the ACBH memories. Sorry, Subject 12; but no. :( Some people prefer reading a straightforward summary (the description), and some people prefer reading the dialouge and imagining the sequence in their minds. I think it would be best to just keep both, the description is not ruining the page in any way, after all. Don't need the permission. Falls under fair use for 3 reasons : Portions being used not entirety of said copyrighted material, it's not a continuious action either. It obviously doesn't effect them ecnonomically. And not used for the actual entertainment itslelf. Dill-Mac

DLC issue with AC:B DLC does not trigger PC deluxe digi!

Heya

Someone sent me your way and said you were the main person to talk to about an issue of mine!

I have the digi deluxe ACB and leo's missions are not activating even after beating the game...

The trigger I read all about and some have had the same issue on xbox but not pc. Ive contacted support and all they said was uninstall and reinstall. did not work...

Any clue what causes this or how to fix it? its quite a bit of play missing from this pack!

Sorry for bothering you agian, but it seems in order to get the dlc to work i might have to RESTART the game?!

Im hoping you might have a few other things I can try.. I have no idea its just so sick that 90% then I have to restart... sigh.

I have completed the game and own the digi deluxe so there was no download from uplay. It came embedded in the game installer...along with the muliplayer stuff (which works) and the achievements that taunt me..since I cant play the missions...

SOLVED PC DLC issue with Da Vinci Quests not showing!

Heya

So the PC version is sadly just like the others. One has to go to UPLAY and download the DA VINCI for 0 points

even though all the rest comes pre installed this DLC didnt... its odd that for the deluxe users this wasnt preinstalled but that fixed the issue, and I feel pretty dumb.

Just hope it helps someone else, as ubi should have it on site (it tried to charge me 10$ for the DLC instead of using the ingame UPLAY and redeeming there)

the channel blues + anti PC wiki

Heya

Do you know who id contact about getting this to be less anti pc?

all the walkthroughs are listed with ps3 or xbox controllers, and the gameplay is no where near the same in terms of pressing buttons.

Also dlc are different and people in that irc channel I was on with you just seemed to bash me when I said I had the pc version, saying that no one here on wiki uses pc so there is no reason to edit anything.

very biased place so maybe you can point me to admin unless you are that..

All I wanted to do was add the solution to my dlc and ask that this place not be so biased to consoles.

the game is a huge PC hit, and released as you know... LONG ago in uk and we in usa dont get to play with anyone buy usa. But this does not mean no one plays the pc version as stated in the irc.

I will not be going back to that channel so some 22 year old kid can slander me. Im to old and just wanted to get help then help back.

--You didn't even let me finish. A vast majority of the people on the wiki play the PS3/360 version. there are select few who play the PC version. That doesn't make me right or wrong, but when I answered your question with the word "here" you thought I meant the IRC channel which was, in fact, not the case at all. I wasn't trying to even begin to slander you until you slandered me because the answer I gave you wasn't what you wanted to hear. Yes, I agree on the fact that this is a wiki and needs to have ALL information for all systems. I did say more than once you needed to talk to an admin, such as Rayne, Cello, Master Sima Yi, ThiefAC about the DLC. Before it even got into a deeper discussion, you were slandering me because I said something wrong, tried correcting myself, and you responded by being a smartass. So, from that, I got rude with you. Two wrongs don't make a right, no; It doesn't give you the right to start slandering me, nor I you. I never even once said that the entire wiki was biased to just PS3/360 like you keep claiming. The walkthroughs posted here on this wiki you cna use on the PC as well as PS3/360. the commands it tells you to press won't be the same, but it's a walkthrough you cna set up your own buttons anyway so the key combinations a walkthrough tell you to press shouldn't matter. Where to find glyphs and everything is the same 9/10 times; but again if you think I was slandering you first, you're wrong.

And to add to that, I can easily name quite a handful of people that play this game on the PC. Our head-admin (bureaucrat) is a PC user himself, and so am I. I can't imagine how you'd think that the whole wiki is biased due to one walkthrough not including PC buttons anyhow. Also, that walkthrough was written last year, too. You shouldn't think we are all biased to consoles just because we haven't gotten ahead and added all the PC prompts, we have other articles to deal with too. --THIEF 23:24, April 8, 2011 (UTC)

Armor of Brutus

Because the current Armor of Brutus image has some scratches on it. Recently I've extracted original texture file for the scroll of brutus' armor. That's why I've tried to replace these images. Just aesthetics. Not a big issue though. Sorry for misunderstanding. - JP 09:42, May 11, 2011 (UTC)

I recently added the detail that hookblades were commonly used by the Assassins of Constantinople before Ezio's arrival. Since the article is new, we should be placing any relevant details that come from the game creators we can correctly source on the page. .GIF images

Heya Vatsa :], I just wanted to ask, I really appreciate those .GIF images you added (they're awesome), but did you get higher-up permission to host those .GIF images on our articles here? Because I have taken the thought of .GIF images to mind before, and the filesizes of them are ridiculously huge. It would make article load-times for our users with slower or even medium internet really slow, I mean, really, really slow. The images you added to the crossbow article alone add 8 megabytes worth of download and bandwidth! It can be a real hassle some time if a user hasn't got fast internet and is trying to load pages with numerous .GIF images. If you can compress the .GIFs, then it would be fine. Um excuse me, my bad. But um thank you, none of my images were low quality or were not repeated. I followed every single rule. And i'm not in doubt thank you very much. And if everything is public and i can edit along with everybody else, then um why did you go and deleted the pictures i put up there.

Conerning the last edit...

If you regarded my editing (or in this case, addition) as unnecessary and unrelated, then in that case "Israel" is unnecessary and unrelated...

Israel was by no means referred to in the series, the whole article therefore is irrelevant to this wiki, unless of course, edits such as those done by me are allowed. Israel is not a region but a newly-established country, the region can be referred to as Palestine or Judea or... but Israel is not an option.

Regardless of your standing with respect to the State of Israel, I hope you take my note into consideration...

P.S.: Jerusalem is NOT a capital of any state, it is merely claimed by Israel.

Most of the information on that page is related to Assassin's Creed and Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines, and the info you added was nowhere near related to those games. I noticed your post on Alareik's page. I am one of his "victims". I stupid part is I didn't do anything even remotely wrong. On a list of "Powers" I removed on because it was already listed before, then I got blocked for a year for "removing content", even though all I did was remove something that was already there.
