Chain of edits on Zhang Zhi & others[edit source]

Truitt, I find your recent edits today on articles such as Zhang Zhi, Wang Dechen, Siege of Diaoyu Castle, and Mongol conquest of the Song dynasty perplexing. First of all, you edit each of these articles many times with insubstantial or even erroneous changes, such as linking pages in the wrong way by writing out the full URL instead of just enclosing the article name with double brackets. At first, I thought perhaps you only later figured that this was wrong and then subsequently fixed it despite obvious examples in articles to the contrary, but you just repeated it again at "Zhang Zhi". This tells me that this is deliberate. Please note that making a great chain of insubstantial or even counter-productive (as some of yours were) edits is in violation of our guidelines on editing and conduct and is considered to be a form of spam and/or possible achievement mining. While it is understandable when a user splits up his work on an article into sections or has to go back to correct some errors, your particular chain of edits does not seem to fall under either of these cases.

Also, the reason why I reverted your edits to the "Zhang Zhi" article was because they were largely erroneous and honestly disruptive. The following is just one example. Grammatically, the word dynasty in dynastic names such as Song dynasty is never capitalized. See Wikipedia's examples as a reference. The only exception is when the dynastic name is an ordinal number, such as those of Egypt (e.g. Nineteeth Dynasty of Egypt). When I rollback several edits at once, I cannot leave an edit summary, so I was not able to explain immediately, but I am explaining it now. Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 00:03, September 27, 2018 (UTC)

For promptly ignoring my message above and going straight to edit warring with something that has been explained to be erroneous, I am giving you a three-day ban. Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 00:19, September 27, 2018 (UTC)

Safety and peace. We have observed that some of your recent activities on the wiki were of ill fate. While your help is just as good as any, please try to refrain from negatively affecting the wiki and its community. This is your first warning. Arrivederci.

I am hereby giving you an official first warning as well as extending your ban to three months for sockpuppetry as a means of attempted ban evasion. You can refer here for my extended explanation on this. Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 05:17, September 27, 2018 (UTC)
