Hello Ricardo, I noticed your series of changes to the Assassin and Templar navigation boxes, and there are many additions that aren't correct, such as vigilantes, mercenaries, courtesans, and pirates. These aren't organizations but just general types of people which is not what the "affiliated groups" field is for. Listing entire countries whose governments were only affiliated with the Assassins or Templars under certain administrations can also be misleading. It might be that the navigation boxes do need some updating or revising them, but I would ask that you leave that to our moderators who are more familiar with the standards of notability for inclusion in the navigation boxes and also their organization. CCP as Assassins[edit source]
Ricardo, the Communist Party of China has not been canonically verified to be affiliated with the Assassins. Please stop editing our pages to reflect that they are. That would constitute fan fiction. Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 06:18, August 8, 2020 (UTC)
Disruptive edits[edit source]
Ricardo, I know that your edits must be in good faith, but I find them very disruptive. Our wiki hasn't always felt comfortable making an article for every little, one-off mention of a real-world thing in the series, like the Guatemalan or Chilean political parties; your creation of fascism and communism categories is another headache because we have never had categories on ideologies before or decided whether we should have them; the category on imperialism is entirely unnecessary; the list goes on and on. None of these are expressly wrong, but they create more questions and issues for our wiki to sort through which aren't necessary for us to tackle at the moment. If you would like to be help out at our wiki, I would strongly recommend doing some writing for our pages rather than making changes to our categories and navigation boxes or creating new pages. If this goes on, even if I know your edits are in good faith, I would have no choice but to begin blocking your ability to edit. Our wiki is hard-pressed enough as it is currently with workload as I'm still sorting out all the items in our agenda, and we can't deal with additional disruption like this. :-/ Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 18:19, August 14, 2020 (UTC)
