Deletion

I would like to know the necessity of deletion of spammer talk pages. Spammers are blocked globally by us when we've cleaned their spam (local blocks aren't necessary). Deleting the talk page helps us to 'clean the slate'. It's easier to find future spam on that particular IP at a later date (if there is any more). Optimally, if your site is spammed, we'd prefer it if you report it to us here. This allows us to remove spam from that IP across all of Wikia; not just this site. Rappy 12:08, May 28, 2012 (UTC)

Yeah. I've seen a lot of article comment spam over the weekend. Reporting it to us ensures we can clean it all. You are free to clean it locally if you want or you wait for us to do so. We have tools that make it relatively painless. Rappy 12:16, May 28, 2012 (UTC)
