The Great Depression

Do you know how to get The Great Depression achievement from Project Legacy? I'm asking because I don't know and you probably do since you submitted the picture to the website.

I'm not quite sure, but I suspect that it's an achievement for buying more than 10 territories before the 10-maximum limit was implied. I had over 30 Assassin's Guild at one point for example, though they were reduced to 10 when the 10-max limit was started. The supposed "Depression" was to give reason for getting rid of the extra territories. (Also, I'd appreciate it if you signed your posts, thanks) =GuardDog 23:53, November 9, 2010 (UTC)

Sorry I didn't sign up here until just a few minutes ago and thank you it stinks for the fact that I bought ten of every building and decided I didn't need anymore until later, but they added the ten max and so I never got the achievement. = Daxter99

Memory Images

Just out of curiosity, where did you get the full picture of the memory images? I don't recall seeing them anywhere... Sekuiya 18:18, November 14, 2010 (UTC)

Sure-- though I use a Mac, so if you're using a Windows, I'm not quite sure if the method is different. On the web browser, simply open the list of components of the page and you can view all sounds, images and links used on it. =GuardDog 02:23, November 15, 2010 (UTC)

I don't seem to find that option in my browser, maybe is a browser thing and not a OS thing. I am indeed using Windows, are you using Safari or something like that? Btw, couldn't find that but while searching for a similar option I found some hidden achievement that are quite interesting. I'll post them later

Ezio's Apple page deletion?

Sorry, I'm not really sure where to get ahold of people for this. I posted on the Deletion discussion page, as well, but the argument is that there are two Apples, because there is no way that Houdini and Napoleon got ahold of the Ezio's Apple (considering since that 16 hints that the Templars killed Houdini for the Apple -- why would they put it back in the Temple?), since Desmond currently has it. If compromise has to be made, perhaps just a sub-heading on the First Apple page? Because I'm not inclined to believe that this is a really huge error on Ubisoft's part, considering the meticulous attention they've paid to the series thus far. -- A Black Rabbit 23:53, December 1, 2010 (UTC)

I assumed it was the same apple because of the associations listed on the original First Apple page. At the very least, either one is listed as the first Piece or Apple, which would negate it being Ezio's Apple, because by that time Ezio has already hidden his Apple. And I just haven't felt like joining the Istruttori ranks because, well...I guess I'm a little bit like Leonardo, I feel like my contributions lack a little, because I barely get time to actually edit on a scale of my preference. Many of my edits are small, well-versed and good in quality, and sure they add up over time but I want to be able to have the time to make more profound edits before I nominate myself. Picture preferences

Hey GuardDog. I thought I'd involve you on a couple of points I want to bring up with my fellow users.

Right, firtstly: Something that has been bugging me for a little while now is the number of pictures on this wiki that depict Ezio in a variety of different colour robes that, canonically, we don't know he ever wore. It's all well and good to assume that, since the option to dye clothes is in-game he canonically did it, but which colour, and when? The same goes for the armour. I think we need to take a good look at all the pictures on-site that depict Ezio wearing coloured robes and, if possible, replace them with similar photos showing Ezio in white robes (and if possible without armour).

My second point is the number of photos on site that, unfortunately, include some of the, for lack of a better word, "Animus glow". A prime example of what I mean can be seen in :File:Beatup2.png|this photo, which shows Ezio's target in a white glow. Now, unless the image is being used to depict something explicitly related to the Animus, I think we should once again replace all these photos with something that does not show the Animus glow.

I know this will probably take some time, and be a large amount of work, but I do think it will be a positive contribution to the wiki, as well as a positive form of mutual interaction between the site's contributors. I agree with you completely. The dyed or armored pictures can stay while there yet isn't an alternative, but you're right they should be replaced as soon as possible. Though personally, I feel the pictures with dyed robes should be the priority in being replaced, as armor or Animus effects can be negligible-- though that's just an opinion. Hopefully we can get them all replaced.

That being said, I'm assuming no new such images should be tolerated then? Or shall they also be allowed until an alternative is uploaded? =GuardDog 04:29, January 8, 2011 (UTC)

Guard, I just saw your edit on the creed page, and it puzzles me. Do you not know that in this wiki, we don't refer to historical articles from a real-world point of view? I don't recall any specific part, but I saw plenty of sentences like "for example, in the first game, Altaïr broke the tenet" and "when the player kills a civilian, he loses one third of health", among other instances. Just a few things...

Hey Guard! Just wanted to run a few things by you before I take action. On the Bugs page under The Truth section it lists glitches which can occur during play through of the level. I was just questioning whether or not to remove that section completley as it seems just a tad too specific, the bugs listed seem to have only happened to a very limited number of people, even if that. So do you think they deserve a place on the page or will I delete them? Also on the activity page I noticed that someone added a photo-shoped piece of fan art of Altaïr to the gallery on the Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad     page , should I remove that image or leave it? I'm not quite with how to manage the Bugs page, as it's difficult to test the validity of any one of them, so might be better to leave them for now - unless you can confirm they don't exist. I'm the person who wrote the the bug about the Truth, it happened to me, and as you can imagine, I was quite worried about my game being ruined, hence the level of detail, so if anyone else faces this bug, they can be guided through it. Help

Hello, I was wondering if you could help me. I'm having some trouble on Brotherhood multiplayer. I can't seem to stun any of my pursuers. Could you please explain to me what I have to do, as it's driving me insane. Thank you.Son of Icthar 13:11, January 28, 2011 (UTC)

As I understand it, Ubisoft recently decreased the likelihood of a successful stun to keep players from becoming dependent on it. If your opponent attempts to assassinate you while you try to stun, they will always succeed. As such, you can only stun if your target is incapacitated (such as through smoke bombs) or not trying to assassinate you at all. Good luck to you. =GuardDog 13:18, January 28, 2011 (UTC)

Another little trick for the borgia messengers in ac: brotherhood is to use your assassin's. You don't get a penalty that way too

Since a lot of the Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood Multiplayer Bonuses|Multiplayer Bonuses involve basic escaping, stunning and killing, Wanted is the best. I've gotten greater variety there several times, though I have yet to reach extreme variety. Good luck. =GuardDog 23:12, March 22, 2011 (UTC)
