Best advice when on the attack I can offer you is to always stay hidden. When you're approaching targets try to move with the crowd, or make yourself look like an NPC. When you get Firecrackers and/ or Templar Vision use those abilities to pick out whose not an NPC in a group, but be warned using both of these abilities will draw attention to yourself from people all around. And remember you get more points per kill from staying hidden (The hidden bonus offers 200 points by itself.) I would also recommend you definantly work with your team, lock on to people who you know or think is a target and everyone of your teammates will be able to do the same (and if they get the kill you get a co-op bonus thats like 200 points.) And if you're watching a morphed group that has a target in it watch each persona for little movements. When they're in the group no NPC will ever move their feet or entire body and they will all be facing the group (I've caught people who have just been facing out of the group) It's the same for moving groups just watch for subtle movements that people sometimes do, and never get to close unless you're moving in to kill one of the people (they tend to drop smoke bombs and run or stun you)
As for when you're the target try to find a group that as 1 or 2 personas who look like you in them. Oftentimes you will fall to Templar Vision or firecrackers but always watch for someone who starts glowing white (thats them using Templar Vision) or if your screen goes white (thats when they drop firecrackers. Just drop a smoke bomb and run off as fast as you can, zig zag through alleys and use chase breakers to get away. Worst case senario is you get caught and you make it obvious to your allys around you who they are so they can hide more effectively or even stun your pursuer. When hiding in groups I would always recommend hiding in a morphed groups (if possible) with as many teamates as you can get with you. More teammates means more points in those groups and also more abilties ready to defend you and help you get away, as with attacking work with your team. Point out possible pursuers, point out if you notice any persona acting suspicious etc etc. And also always act like an NPC (when in groups your persona will do this automatically) when you get into walking groups or any sort of group just let go of the right stick and stop pressing buttons. Just let your guy stand there and do is thing and keep your eye out to suspicious activity...
