Thanks for the assistance with mister Tangible :P And yeah, he is certainly bothering me :/ But seeing as there was a bit of a confrontation, things will most likely be fine now. oh AND GOOD TO SEE YOU AGAINZ!!!! Le droit d'asile[edit source]
Hey D. You're usually the person I go to for a final opinion (after gaining the opinion of others, obviously) but I thought I'd show it to you now. This place has been nuts lately. A lot of crazy things have been happening there. I was hoping if you could take a gander at the place (particularly the General Templates section and the Istruttori revamps section) and check out what's going on (i.e. give your opinion on what you see) if things got too out of hand. Thanks a plenty :D --Jacques le BlancReception Area 15:43, January 15, 2011 (UTC)
- War, I trust you, and I trust your work, be it templates or articles or else. My only concern is that, sometimes, you seem to let power gets up to your head and gets authoritative/gruffy/blocky. That kind of attitude can end up influenciating others who look up to you, like Thief. That said, the templates look awesome oO much better than the current colored ones XD Feel free to exchange them whenever you please, and I also give you white card to revamp any other you may want. Knock yourself out, Machiavelli ;D -- D. Cello 16:09, January 15, 2011 (UTC)
- Oh, and I forgot: the Istruttori userboxes are ALL cool, we can add all of them and let each Istruttore pick his favorite ^^
And I saw Pirate's message on your talkpage, in order to edit the links at the Istruttorrum, just add /Header at the end of the name, like this -- D. Cello 16:14, January 15, 2011 (UTC)

- War Clown is always "authoritative/gruffy/blocky". That's why I'm the Camerlengo, to even things out, since I'm never pissed off at people, hahaaha. :) It's like good cop, bad cop. LOL. --THIEF 23:24, January 15, 2011 (UTC)

- "Always" doesn't work when you are leading people. You have to know how to balance things out. The line is very thin, Thief.
And War was much less authoritative when he started here, I want to see that side of him more again ^^ -- D. Cello 23:27, January 15, 2011 (UTC)- True that. --THIEF 23:47, January 15, 2011 (UTC)
Really now? Well, to be fair, when I was started working here I didn't have much of a position (other than Chief Editor, I guess) But I guess you guys are right. Suddenly ♫-No one man should have all that POWER!-♫ is ringing in my head. >:P Well anyways, I still have to work on the other general templates, and also with some Istruttori stuff. I'll get back to work now. Glad you liked it Cello :D --Jacques le BlancReception Area 08:23, January 16, 2011 (UTC)
I have to say War, I really like both the revamped General Templates as well as the Istruttori Templates. Great work, man. I've had a few ideas for some templates of my own floating around but I have no idea how I'd go about making them or I'd do so in my own sandbox and let you guys know. XD And as for the Staff Pictures...XD I kind of expected that I'd get the fat man. Any chance I can request that be changed to the black and silver clad Templar soldier that I think Thief had as his picture around two weeks ago, or is Abu a requirement? -Assassin-of-Rayne- 08:58, January 16, 2011 (UTC)
- Haha! I knew you'd bring this up. Yeah I'll change it to Addin. Phantom ain't around for the time being anyways. :D BTW Rayne, get to the Staff board. NOW. --Jacques le BlancReception Area 09:09, January 16, 2011 (UTC)
- XD Yes sir! As soon as I figure out which direction the Staff board actually is. Haha bear with me, I'm still waking up and there isn't any coffee. -Assassin-of-Rayne- 09:19, January 16, 2011 (UTC)
- On second thought, is there any chance that I could get the picture of Sibrand? I'm far from paranoid but Phantom has had Addin's picture since he's been an Ist I believe. And I'm fairly certain that Sibrand isn't taken. :P -Assassin-of-Rayne- 09:22, January 16, 2011 (UTC)
- Refer to Thief for that. And the Staff Board is there at the News Feed. Scroll down to see Istruttori Major Revamp , click the link and bob's your uncle. :D --Jacques le BlancReception Area 09:31, January 16, 2011 (UTC)
- Sorry Rayne. But Sibrand (it's actually a common knight, but Sibrand didn't have concept art so we just pretend it's Sibrand) is mine!! Harr! Also, wasn't Sibrand the second-in-command of the Templar Order or something? --THIEF 12:48, January 16, 2011 (UTC)
- Oh, btw.. War. The pictures on those templates are super awesome! Did you make those icons!? They're great. --THIEF 12:51, January 16, 2011 (UTC)
- The general templates? No, they came from the PL achievements. If you're talking about the Istruttori ones, then yes, I made them. With the PS3 gone, I have a ton of spare time at my hands. Cello said I should try to spice up the staff a bit, so I did. For more info, refer to the Staff Board. xD --Jacques le BlancReception Area 12:56, January 16, 2011 (UTC)
- War, those new templates look awesome! Far more stylish and simple than their original counterparts, even if its something like a revamp or stub they look very cool. And the red or white Istruttore userboxes look awesome too. AssassinRome 13:50, January 16, 2011 (UTC)
- Guys, just remove the bloody fatguy alredy ._. Thief already have a picture that isn't one of the AC1 templars, tehn remove the fat guy. Also, war, Phantom been gone for too long. Try contacting him liek we did to Altaïr. We can't have a staff member inactive for so long. -- D. Cello 16:35, January 16, 2011 (UTC)
- Well, according to his userpage, he's going to be out until the PC release of ACBH. I'll contact him anyways, but should he not respond, what will you have me do, master? --Jacques le BlancReception Area 14:38, January 17, 2011 (UTC)
An Idea...[edit source]
D, I have an idea, that has been festering in my mind since the day I began editing ACW. What do you think of this: There is a way I can rig an image, so that certain points in said image, when clicked, will link to another page. Basically, merging links with an image. Don't know if you are familiar with this technique, but it is called imagemap[ping]. Anyway, I've had the idea for a long time, of employing that method for use as a timeline. Specifically, replacing the timeline page with an image of a vertical DNA strain, with points on the strain linking to pages corresponding to that place in time. It would take a bit but I could certainly have a great thing worked out if you'd like to do it. For example, have an article for each century mentioned in AC, and have all the events that occurred in that century on that page, and organized accordingly, then have the actual Timeline page link to them via the DNA strain image. And as to not simply have a page with but an image, we could include some sort of relevant information on the left side, written, and have the DNA strain going vertically down the right side of the article. Tell me what you think :P --Piratehunter (Talk•Contribs) 22:35, January 15, 2011 (UTC)
- That's awesome, Pirate! I knwo the tecnique, I used it on the codex page a long time ago, and the panel got removed on one of the newer edits. I find the idea fantastic, get started! Let me know if you need anything, and try to coordenate efforts with someone of the memories project. -- D. Cello 23:29, January 15, 2011 (UTC)
- That sounds so badass O_O I'm so excited to see the end product! I saw the same technique at the Vault (a.k.a the Fallout Wiki) It was pretty awesome, they had it applied at FO3's world map. Which reminds me. I've been planning to initiate another wiki project about landmarks. You think we could use the technique once I get everything sorted out for the project? --Jacques le BlancReception Area 08:27, January 16, 2011 (UTC)
- That idea sounds really badass, Pirate! I agree with Cello and War, that idea would really be epic, not to mention it would potentially give the page the much-needed revamp/reorganization that it desperately needs (and totally kills the idea I've had floating around in my head about it, which I know would never have worked XD). As the newest member to the Istruttori, I approve. :D -Assassin-of-Rayne- 08:53, January 16, 2011 (UTC)
- That's pretty freakin' sweet! I approve and War's idea of an article showing the world map (with labeled in-game locations) is excellent. --THIEF 12:46, January 16, 2011 (UTC)

- I dont know if everybody knows this (since I found out accidentaly), but if you keep zooming out while on a city map like Firenze, you eventually get a map of aaaall of Italia. We could use that too. And about hte world locations, if we figured out a way to make hoverboxes with pictures... it would be so awesome. -- D. Cello 16:34, January 16, 2011 (UTC)

And also, if someone can find me a really good pic of a DNA strain to use, that would seriously help. Preferable one with a transparent background that I wont have to thumb :/ I'm thinking something along the lines of either a bluish, smokey strain, or a white one like from ACII. --Piratehunter (Talk•Contribs) 16:42, January 16, 2011 (UTC)

I may be paranoid, but the Tangible fellow is back. :/ He's seriously making me a bit uneasy. I've told him to stop bothering me, so... I just wanna ask you if maybe you could tell him to stop. New Staff Section?[edit source]
Hey Cello, I was just thinking now that the Istruttori has all its 9 members, will there be the creation of a new staff section to be filled, An 'Assassin Recruits' or something with no limit to its members, just those who deserve it? I know im not ready at present to become part of the staff, but with hard work, consideration and a lot of effort I would like to evetually become a more hands on member in the future, and there are a few other hard workers out there such as Subject AMDR and 'R BlaiddDdraig who have been working hard and may eventually deserve some sort of staff placement, its just a broadminded suggestion...What do you think?
Sick-steeN 01:49, January 18, 2011 (UTC)
- No. the staff is not a reward for everyone who does good, it is a integral and very worksome part of the wiki necessary for administration and maintenance. We have more than enough staff members at the present. -- D. Cello 01:52, January 18, 2011 (UTC)
- Understood. Thanks for your reply Sick-steeN 02:14, January 18, 2011 (UTC)
Keys[edit source]
I just found two keys in AC II. Do you know what they are for?
Nisheeth 16:13, January 18, 2011 (UTC)
- You're talking about the ones found on dummies? They have no purpose, they originally were going to, but were taken out before the game was released, but they forgot about the keys. I think they're mentioned on the Easter Eggs page. Hope you don't mind me answering this question Cello. ’R BlaiddDdraig 16:24, January 18, 2011 (UTC)

Interesting Warnings[edit source]
I was away for a month from the AC Wiki. I signed in today to browse the usual pages and saw that you guys have started to take newbie editors under serious scrutiny. Good thing i stopped adding new pages to categories (PL:Rome), that warning image you guys have made is real impressive and loved the new welcome message..

Medal Abusing?[edit source]
Hey Cello, I have noticed that zac skywalker has being going around some of the memory pages deleting my images and replacing them with his obviosly copied lower quality versions. He has been part of this wiki for a long time so I know he is not vandalizing, but I think he could be fishing for medals or something. I'm kinda annoyed since I've been working really hard with Subject AMDR to create these pages over the last few pages and I believe such action requires a warning. He's basically looking at my images and recreating his own versions of lower quality and them swapping them over and claiming ownership. Have a look at the recent activity and you will see, also if you have the time can you reverse his edits so my 'higher quality' images can stay? Thanks for your time, Sick-steeN 17:31, January 20, 2011 (UTC)
- If he's replacing great quality with lower quality pics, he will get blocked. Feel free to revert ALL of his edits where that happened. -- D. Cello 17:54, January 20, 2011 (UTC)

- D. Cello, go to the channel and type
/cs invite #wikia-assasinscreedThen after that, type/cs flags #wikia-assassinscreed Piratehunter +iAnd I'll check into it. --القراصنةهنتر (Talk•Contribs) 21:44, January 20, 2011 (UTC)
- I personally think that for some reason or another, you tried to remove my rights, and went very horribly wrong, and ended up setting #wikia-assassinscreed flags to +i. How the hell that happens out of sheer mistake is beyond me, but it's certainly the most probable explanation, as Sannse is also set as -i. And with it being a Wikia channel, I highly doubt wikia would strip themselves of rights. just get on there and hand me +i flag and I'll fix it. It's too exhausting to try to explain it. --القراصنةهنتر (Talk•Contribs) 22:06, January 20, 2011 (UTC)
Database Articles[edit source]
I am thinking working on Database Articles, which is need of revamp. Should I arrange it in the form of a table with one column being for images of the person, place etc. & the second column for the database entry. An third column can be added for the video. What do you say?
Nisheeth 14:01, January 21, 2011 (UTC)
I forgot to add, Is there a way to keep other's from editing the page as long as the work on it is going on?

- Ay, add the Working revamp tempalte to the top of the page. -- D. Cello 15:42, January 21, 2011 (UTC)

- Looks pretty good, Nisheeth! Congrats, you earn a cookie!

Pirate's discharge[edit source]
Hello, Cello. Now I would like to discuss Pirate Hunter's discharge. Now I don't like to question the authority of staff or admins, but I think your decision to completely demote Pirate and ban him was wrong. Really. He was friendly enough and a great editor, yes he made a big mistake, but we all do. People, including the ruthless War Clown (I joke War) cut Mega more slack. I'm sorry but I could not at all disagree more with you. I though the appropriate thing to do is do what Al Mualim did with Altair, completely discharge him from the Istruttori and deprive him of his respect and honour and allow him to continue editing and work if way back up to his former glory and status. Please if you consider anything I have to say then please unban him and give him a second chance. Please, Commander Shepard. AssassinRome 21:40, January 22, 2011 (UTC)
- I see your opinion is based caused you lack the full view of the facts.
First, Pirate is not banned, nor blocked. He was only demoted. Second, his absence from this wiki wasn't my veredict, it was simply his choice. I will be posting our conversation log of the events that led to this outcome here in a while, and you will see that the only guilt here was his shortmindedness and inability to work in a team. -- D. Cello 21:55, January 22, 2011 (UTC) - Fine. I made this veredict on, like you said my lack of knowledge about this, so I'm sorry. Forgive me Master. AssassinRome 22:07, January 22, 2011 (UTC)

Assassin's Sizzler[edit source]
Hi, Cello. I and War briefly discussed this on the IRC. So as we have a bakery I had an idea for a template call the Assassin's Sizzler. This what it is: This user has earned a large helping of the Assassin's Sizzler. And the picture contains a large breakfast of bacon, eggs, sausage, coffee, pancakes, etc. So you like the sound of that? And here is the Initiation page. AssassinRome 12:30, January 23, 2011 (UTC)

Hey -- wanted to find some info on the AC books, etc., but i saw that the "Books" page was redirected to a "AC in other Media" page that was deleted: http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Assassin's_Creed_in_Other_Media

Apologies!![edit source]
Hi D.,
I would like to comment here personally before any action is taken, to say I am very sorry for commenting on the staff page! I have since removed my comment. I was unaware that I was not allowed to do until after placing my comment. If you look at my editing to date you should hopefully see that I am a good contributor and I meant no harm by this. I will ofcourse accept your judgment but I thought i'd say my piece here and apologise in advance. please accept my humble words..Lord of the Creed 17:14, January 25, 2011 (UTC)

Assassin's Creed Reniassance[edit source]
Is it allowed by the wiki to put contents of the Assassin's Creed: Reniassance? I can provide the chapters and content for the pages. --Nisheeth 11:55, January 26, 2011 (UTC)
- I'll answer for D. Cello, since I'm already on his talk page. Yes, Assassin's Creed: Renaissance is canon, and as such any information from that particular source is allowed on the articles. However, if the information provided in the book explicitly contradicts that given in the game, it is to be ignored. (See the appropriate section on our sourcing policy for a more detailed explanation). --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 03:42, January 27, 2011 (UTC)
- It's not what I meant. My question was that can i put the chapters from the book in its entirety as page. Like chapter 1 of Assassin's Creed: Renissance as one page and so on. That is can I put up the book for others to read? --Nisheeth 07:20, January 27, 2011 (UTC)
- No, you can not. This is a wiki, not a book store. You can not put up a full word-per-word copy of Renaissance on here to read, it's simply against the rules and yes it is a different matter to upload pieces of content from the book (like what Jasca said). Fixed Template:Era[edit source]
Hi D. I've managed to fix Template:Era, so that the images once again show up on our article. All that needs to be done now is for somebody to shrink the images down to a more manageable (and more presentable) size. At the moment, some articles have the eraicons spread across half the top of the page. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 03:42, January 27, 2011 (UTC)
- Awesome Jasca oO Thanks. Btw, I send you a email via wikilink, did you get it? -- D. Cello 04:35, January 27, 2011 (UTC)
Great job Jasca! So, Cello, does this mean I don't have to create that header template that tells people (This page is a featured article) ? --Jacques le BlancReception Area 10:20, January 27, 2011 (UTC)
- This is pretty unrelated to Jasca's message, but I feel that my message should go here instead of creating a whole new section and making it confusing for you, Cello. Could you please give User:AssassinRome rollback rights? Thanks--THIEF 04:24, January 27, 2011 (UTC)
- Done. And I saw you gave him the message and everything, and though it appears that you've changed the text, you still left all relevant links in it. Great job, Thief. =] -- D. Cello 04:35, January 27, 2011 (UTC)
- Cheers, Cello. ;) --THIEF 04:56, January 27, 2011 (UTC)
- Just a small note as I'm currently on my iPhone, and the keyboard is far from suitable. I've created a few test icons that will hopefully replace the current ones. They're posted on my user page. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 12:52, January 27, 2011 (UTC)
Hey can u delte the page Last Rite? i messed up because i was trying to do something but it didnt work. thanks Nothing is true, except for what i say 04:25, January 28, 2011 (UTC)
How do you get those cool userboxes??[edit source]
hello,
i was just wondering how you got those cool things called userboxes on your page?

- Here, I'm not sure if that link will work, if not, there's a link to them on the main page, towards the bottom of the page, under the header "Community". Also, make sure when you add them, that you're in the source mode. -- ’R BlaiddDdraig 03:51, January 29, 2011 (UTC)
AC2 Ending[edit source]
I just completed my playthrough of he game. I just had one question?
When Ezio entere the vault, he took the apple out of the pouch on his belt. But we saw Rodrigo put the apple in the staff. When did Ezio get the apple back from the staff. I remember seeing the apple on the staff until he entered the chamber
Staff Panel Revamp[edit source]
Hey D, what do you think of this staff panel revamp? It's unfinished, but the idea is to convert all the staff panel templars into Assassin Apprentices and adding in a Rollback section for rollbacks. ;) Some of the images are a bit weird but I'm waiting for a quality video to come out (or for Brotherhood PC to be released) to capture high quality ones and change my picture from Perotto to an Assassin Apprentice (I ran out of images). --THIEF 02:27, January 31, 2011 (UTC)
- Rollbacks dont need to be listed, cause they are in no way part of the staff. And lets wait for good pictures before we make the change ;D -- D. Cello 01:09, February 3, 2011 (UTC)

There is somethig wrong in the Seekers page. The content is all in a thin column on the left of the page.

Any work for me?[edit source]
Hey Cello, how you keepin'? Just poppin by to see if there is any projects you would like me to work on - image wise? Late reply but when I checked recent activity about 1 minute before I posted that it said everyone admins and all was demoted to normal user status ... o_O
Cello!!! READ!! :D[edit source]
Check out the "better pictures" you requested XD..
Very, very special thanks to User:Subject_16*. He made about 3 icons so far, and technically gave me the tools to make some of my own, without him the pictures wouldn't exist, so 99% of the credit goes to him. (I've made 3 also at the moment). They look VERY awesome, even more awesome than the Templar icons... what do you think, mate?
Also, just to let you know, there is an error in the above wiki Wordmark. It currently says "The Assassin's Creed Wiki - Assassins Creed, Assassins Creed 2, walkthroughs, and more" it should be changed to "The Assassin's Creed Wiki - Assassin's Creed, Assassin's Creed II (looks better as II :D), walkthroughs, and more". In the current version the " ' " that goes after n and before s is missing in both AC and AC 2. Just letting you know :D
Cheers! --THIEF 08:37, February 3, 2011 (UTC)
- The images are good, but they dont fit well with Ezio clothes. One because all we see is their mouth, what can easily be confused with a dozen Ezios, and second, that their aprentice clothing is unique, and what makes them, well, apprenticces.
About the wordmark, I have no idea what youre talking about oO Feel free to correct it. -- D. Cello 15:53, February 3, 2011 (UTC)- It doesn't let me correct the wordmark.. only 'crats can. Just go to "tools", "theme designer" click on "word mark" and add in the " ' ".. ;)
- Also, when are we going to implement that idea of yours? I have some people in mind for the Istruttori that I can see one day being admins. :D Cheers, --THIEF 04:56, February 4, 2011 (UTC)
- Since 16 managed to find a handful of images, we can let each istruttori choose the color of his avatar robes, which face and wheter or not it will have its face covered. As soon as all Istruttori choosed their images, you can implement it (and leave that shadow person silhouete to the vacant positions).
Also, get me Guard. I need to speak with him tonight. Safety and Peace, Thief. -- D. Cello 20:52, February 4, 2011 (UTC)
hello?[edit source]

New Istruttori icons[edit source]
Hey Cello, what you think of these ones? Just experiments... Sick-steeN 17:23, February 3, 2011 (UTC)
- The apprentice cloths is right now. But try to show more of his face instead of hiding his eyes, the shape seems a little off oO -- D. Cello 20:49, February 4, 2011 (UTC)
-
- Thanks Cello, I'll work on that. As I said, these were just quick experiments so the finished versions will be much cleaner. Also that idea about the colour of the robes, the faces and the face scarves is the very same idea I was working towards. So would you like me to take the initiative and ask all Istruttori members for their preferances, or should I leave it to Thief, and let him get back to me? Sick-steeN 21:57, February 4, 2011 (UTC)
- Ask Thief, hes il Direttore. -- D. Cello 22:13, February 4, 2011 (UTC)
Demotion[edit source]
Hey Cello, though I may regret this decision later I feel since I have been lagging so much on the Memory Project and haven’t put a lot of effort recently that I be demoted of Chief Editor of the project, and feel like Subject AMDR or Subject 16* would be more appropriate for the job due to their activity here. I only request to keep rollback rights because it comes very useful in sight of vandalism. Though I’m honestly hesitant to give the position away I think it’s better for the wiki if we do, I put the users before me on this wiki and clearly see that the two members I mentioned are better for the role DanMan7308 22:03, February 4, 2011 (UTC) DanMan7308
- You have rollbacks cause youre a good editor, not cause you are Chief Editor, WIth that said, since youre the chief editor, either you have to step down or talk to the founder about it, since Im in no way involved with that project. But I must point out that those two editors are still new here, and if it was up to me, you would stay as Chief Editor. If you feel youre not too present, just BE more present ;D -- D. Cello 22:12, February 4, 2011 (UTC)
Alright :) I'll try to find time this week to work on the AC2 memories so we can get it over with already, and with the help of the new users we'll be done quicker, though if I ever feel that another user deserves the position instead of me I will inform War. SOMEONE BLOCKED ME[edit source]
Cello, this is War Clown. Someone named Charitwo blocked me and my IP for spam. I can't post here under my username, and I can't log in on the IRC. What the hell is going on?! And who the hell gave that guy the right to block me!? --121.54.32.137 15:28, February 10, 2011 (UTC)
- Well, in wiki your IP is compeltely clean oO [1] I blocked you for 15 minutes now to see if it maybe overwrites youre last, buggy block. I went to Charitwo talk page, but Jasca surprised me by getting there first and requesting a explanation (way to go, Jasca ;D).
It must be some other screwup from wikia people, we will do what we can to try and fix it. =] -- D. Cello 16:44, February 10, 2011 (UTC) - Well...I can edit now, but I still can't log in on the IRC. oO --Jacques le BlancReception Area 17:13, February 10, 2011 (UTC)
- Im so awesome, I fixed a block by sheer will power XD What's the IRC problem, War? -- D. Cello 17:16, February 10, 2011 (UTC)
- Whenever I try to log in, both dummy name and registered nickname, it says Terminated or Closing Link: [121.54.32.158] (Z:Lined (DNSBL listed. Check ircnet.com/cgi-bin/bl.cgi?ip=121.54.32.158 for removal.)). Is it because some of the IRC guys blocked me? --Jacques le BlancReception Area 17:19, February 10, 2011 (UTC)
- Charmander (Charto, whatever) doesn't use our IRC.. so that means there's something wrong elsewhere. Because Charmindo must've spotted something wrong with your I.P on the connected users activity feed and must've thought you were a spam-bot or something (maybe your Internet connection was corrupted, I dunno).. The same probably goes for the IRC client.. maybe it thinks you're a spam-bot as well due to a corrupted internet connection.. my best bet is to change I.Ps or just wait it out. Chariwtio is Wikia staff by the way. --THIEF 21:27, February 10, 2011 (UTC)
- Whenever I try to log in, both dummy name and registered nickname, it says Terminated or Closing Link: [121.54.32.158] (Z:Lined (DNSBL listed. - Well, the douche who blocked me here at the wiki replied to Jasca's message (Jasca probably hasn't seen it yet) and also I'm still blocked at the IRC. It's been two days already, what the hell is wrong? Is it because my IP has been affected by a Trojan virus? How the hell do I get it off? --Jacques le BlancReception Area 15:44, February 12, 2011 (UTC)
- Like I said, you have a corrupted/infected I.P. Chariwto (automatically) detected that and banned you, but after reasoning he has unbanned you from here (I think). The IRC client probably has the same IP detection that Chariwto's sources had (I think there is a way for wormed/infected I.Ps to infect other users on IRC clients). To change your IP address, just reset your internet modem.. (turn it off for around five minutes, then turn it back on and wait five minutes for it to re-initialize). Read here for more details. Hope it gets sorted out, --THIEF 23:27, February 12, 2011 (UTC)
- Nah, Charsomething didnt knew which one War is. When my 15 minute block ended and unblocked War, it overruled the auto bot block that charmantehre did. -- D. Cello 23:29, February 12, 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, what Cello said. And Thief I tried that changing IP thing (Actually my IP changes everytime I establish a connection to the Internet) It does not work. This is ridiculous. --Jacques le BlancReception Area 06:31, February 13, 2011 (UTC)
- Amander said that the problem was that you are using a proxy, whatever hell that is. She says she fixed the problem. You can log in on the IRC now? If not, what's the error? -- D. Cello 16:08, February 13, 2011 (UTC)

Pictures[edit source]
You know when you said about me making images smaller? Well, I haven't been doing it on purpose. I think when I've been adding information to the image description, it may have been accidently shrinking them. I don't even know how to make them bigger or smaller. IRC: Important Message[edit source]
Get on the IRC as soon as you can, its concerning a Staff matter, you will receive the message from either Avanti, War Clown, or I. I'd also appreciate it if you could stay on there as long as you're on the wiki, until you get it, so as to get this done as quickly as possible. Thank you. -- ’R BlaiddDdraig 13:15, February 18, 2011 (UTC)
- I'm kinda heavily busy these couple of days, Blaid, but I'm on the IRC right now. I'll try to log in later too since you nor Avanti nor War are on. -- D. Cello 21:48, February 18, 2011 (UTC)
- Thief told me the idea. You made it sound like it was a hell of a big deal, mate XD -- D. Cello 23:33, February 18, 2011 (UTC)
- Well I thought it was important, I assumed anything to do with the Staff was :P. Also, I appear to be blocked from the IRC, I have followed a few links to try and have it reversed, apparently I was spamming, but of course I've never done that. Do you know anything about this? -- ’R BlaiddDdraig 04:17, February 19, 2011 (UTC)
- I forgot to mention, it says that I did this two days and 18 hours ago, two days ago, although I was on, I was also at my mothers house. I'm not sure exactly how IP addresses work, but her house is at least half an hour drive from here, (if IP's have anything to do with distance), and she also uses a different internet provider. So, if I were spamming, which I wasn't, wouldn't it block me from her computer, not this one? -- ’R BlaiddDdraig 04:37, February 19, 2011 (UTC)
- Never mind, its working now, but I was definitely blocked. How strange. -- ’R BlaiddDdraig 05:32, February 19, 2011 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure that same problem has happened to War too. Weird. --THIEF 06:22, February 19, 2011 (UTC)

Steam Group[edit source]
Hey Cello I was thinking we should have a Steam Group for the wikia that way when Brotherhood comes out on Steam people can access it from within the game and chat with other members of the Steam group and we could maybe even post small articles there as a way of helping people who want to look things up easily.
That last part is an if because it may be copyright infrinment-ing :P
What'dya think?

Help[edit source]
Hi, is there any type of style guide on the wiki? --Gta-mysteries ◀RingADing▶ 17:46, February 27, 2011 (UTC)
- We have a Manual of Style, but its better to just follow the standards of similar pages =] -- D. Cello 21:04, February 27, 2011 (UTC)
- I've seen many pages in second person point of view, using "yous", and some pages look like a strategy guide from IGN. Shouldn't it be in third person? --Gta-mysteries ◀RingADing▶ 21:23, February 27, 2011 (UTC)
- Each page is written in a way. Characters are written like they were actual history, without any real-world or game reference except in the trivia or behind the scenes questons. Walkthrough pages are written like instructions to gamers, since thats what they are. We dont have ONE major policy to all articles, since they are so different from one another. -- D. Cello 21:32, February 27, 2011 (UTC)
- So what could be said of this? I just figured this was an article, not a walkthrough, so it shouldn't have had instructions. --Gta-mysteries ◀RingADing▶ 22:28, February 27, 2011 (UTC)
- Like you, not all editors are aware of how to write, so sometimes thigns like that happen. If you feel like it, I would be more than happy to let you in charge of assembing the manual of style of the wiki. We need someone who's willing to do it, and then the staff will help you. -- D. Cello 22:35, February 27, 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks, I could do that. I could start right now if you want. --Gta-mysteries ◀RingADing▶ 22:38, February 27, 2011 (UTC)
- Be my guest, then. Just so you know, with the exception of walkthroughs and real life people/corporations/things, all articles should be in-game wise in writing and POV, okay? Let me know if you need anything. =] -- D. Cello 22:41, February 27, 2011 (UTC)
- Ah, the link [2]. Happy editing. -- D. Cello 22:43, February 27, 2011 (UTC)
- I got ya, in-game people/corporations should be written of things pertaining to the game and not in real-life. Walkthroughs can be FPOV, and articles should be third person? --Gta-mysteries ◀RingADing▶ 22:48, February 27, 2011 (UTC)
One more thing: when would "Ezio" or "the player" be used in an article? They pretty much show the same subject. --Gta-mysteries ◀RingADing▶ 00:07, February 28, 2011 (UTC)
- "Ezio climbed Chritina's house, took off her clothes and lay with her" = right. "Ezio climbed Chritina's house and hte player pressed the empty hand button to remvoe her clothes" = wrong. And yes, we must write as a encylopedia, narrating facts, kinda like a third person or a omnisicente narrator.-- D. Cello 00:22, February 28, 2011 (UTC)
- Maybe instead of writing "The Player" we could write it as "the Animus subject" or, "Desmond". It would look more encyclopedia-ish and it will work for many pages that write about gameplay and gaming elements. Here's an example, Cello.
- ------------From Synchronization,
- ------------"If Synchronization is critically low, the screen will begin to flash blue and red to warn [the player] as
------------the current memory begins to become unstable." - ------------To be changed to:
- ------------"If Synchronization is critically low, the screen will begin to flash blue and red to warn [Desmond] as
------------the current memory begins to become unstable." - ------------or
- ------------"If Synchronization is critically low, the screen will begin to flash blue and red to warn [the Animus
------------subject] as the current memory begins to become unstable." - --------------THIEF 04:59, February 28, 2011 (UTC)
- That could work, but isn't either one suitable in different spots? Like Pickpocketing could address both Ezio, or the player? Other pages could just be addressing one. --Gta-mysteries ◀RingADing▶ 05:22, February 28, 2011 (UTC)
- Whoops, sorry for the weird lines.. Wikia stuffed up I think. And, Gta, pickpocketing is a gameplay element though, so we use the player's point of view, and treat Ezio like a sockpuppet perse'. :P --THIEF 05:19, March 1, 2011 (UTC)
