General Talk[edit source]
Hi Marcello, I'm just here to note for Altaïr that he gives his greeting to you. He said that he will be back to Belgium by July 24, so he will gone a bit longer than he noted before. In other news, he will married a lot sooner since the preparations are done. ^_^ a Lunatic 20:34, June 18, 2010 (UTC)

Sorry[edit source]
Sorry for that remaining terrible grammar on the Poison Blade page, It was late and trust me the edit before my edit was even worse. I changed the last user's edit a bit, fixing up some mistakes, but I guess I didn't really notice there were more. Sorry again.
The Theif 22:53, June 12, 2010 (UTC)
- Hey, no worry, kid. I saw the previous edits, and the grammar were bad before you got there. If you find a trivia is badly written, and a minor edit doesn't solve it, don't be afraid to just rewrite the whole thing ;D -- D. Cello 04:05, June 13, 2010 (UTC)

- Cheers, also I hope you don't mind but i've added a few pictures to the articles that needed them, are these pictures good enough or in the right spot because i'm quite new

Anon edit on Ezio quote[edit source]
Hi there, I don't know if you've noticed, but recently an anon user has been consistently editing the Ezio Auditore article, messing up one of the quotes on the article. I have previously asked the anon to refrain from doing this, explaining what affects his edits were having on the template, but they have since chosen to ignore me and ocntinued to do the same such thing. As one of the admins on this site, I have chosen to leave the next step in your capable hands.
Also, might I recommend you archive your talk page, it's getting quite long and makes loading somewhat trying. Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 14:56, April 30, 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, Silver's been saying that to me forever. Maybe it's really time to archive it...
About the anon, he's blocked for 3 days, more info on his talk page. Thanks for bringing it to my attention, Ducato. And I know you already have rollback rights, but want to join the moderators group? I remember you already were a Istruttori, but disapeared for some time. Despite giving you a official status in here, if you ever interested in becoming a admin, that's the road. -- D. Cello 18:25, April 30, 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry for the late reply, been back at Uni so not really had a chance to do much online. I'm always interested in trying to better the wikis I choose to work on, but what would becoming a moderator entails? Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 12:31, May 4, 2010 (UTC)
Well, pretty much what you're already doing... watching articles, reverting bad or vandalized edits, keeping an eye out for the wiki. The new responsabilities would be the user interaction (since mod and admins are like the face of the wiki) and the focus on improving the wiki via new articles, ideas and projects. Every once and a while the staff reunites to discuss what's happening. Of course those meetings aren't yet near organized or constant as Wookieepedia, for example, but we do it.
Altough we're good, my current idea is to expand the wiki as much as possible, so we can increase the staff numbers. More people, more activity, more ideas, better wiki. -- D. Cello 00:01, May 6, 2010 (UTC)
- Our friend is back to vandalising that quote on the Ezio article again. Although they seem to be operatin under a new IP adress. As for becoming a moderator, the difficulty I have is in that I'm only really able to get online when I have some spare time, and with both work and university to consider, my spare time doesn't amount to much. However, if you're willing to allow that little tidbit, then I'd happily accept your offer of moderator. Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 03:16, May 9, 2010 (UTC)
- This other IP seems convinced that it was Ezio twenty ninth birthday that something happened, and his activity dates from 4 months ago. Maybe it isn't the same guy. Are you absolutely sure that twentyseventh is correct? -- D. Cello 03:28, May 9, 2010 (UTC)
- It's not the age that concerns me. It's the constant messing up of the quote template that's irritating me; I just reverted it when I saw the quote template had been changed again,
must not have noticed a difference in the age.Just checked it out, Ezio is 29 in 1488, I've put a place holder source in to back this up for the moment. Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 09:06, May 9, 2010 (UTC)

- This is my talk page, it's correct. And I just don't like MSG4, it bores me. I think the hype for it was great mainly because of the PS3 and the franchise. We've never heard of it anymore after the release, it never made it into any top 10 games of the decade or nothing. But anyway, it's my opinion, you shouldn't have a problem with that. ;D

Al Mualim's Knife[edit source]
I have been thinking about wether this article adds any important information to the article. We know almost nothing about it, and as far as we know, it might as well just be an ordinary knife that Al Mualim just picked up from a desk or something. Even if the knife would be worth mentioning, wouldn't it be better to just put it in Al Mualim's main article rather than to create a completely new one with about three sentences? -- Master Sima Yi 06:54, May 9, 2010 (UTC)
Redlinks[edit source]
- Cello, you haven't happened to have prevent redlinks from showing on this wiki have you? I ask because all links I put in are showing up as liking to written articles (i.e. the links are blue), even when I know the articles do not exist. Ive checked my preferences and nothing is wrong there, so I can't see why it shouldn't be working. Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 17:31, May 13, 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, that's been on for more than a month now. I contacted WikiaGroup and we were selected by Wikia Gaming to test this new interface. All links are blue to ease the acess of new users, and pages that don't exist are directed to a pre-layout. It's all part of a new experiment to include new members. Wikipedia is dying, man. Maybe you read it in the papers. But they are working to prevent that.
btw, while it's kind of odd, it doesn't really affects anything, so it's probably staying that way. -- D. Cello 21:39, May 13, 2010 (UTC)

Admin status[edit source]
D.Cello I volunteer to be an admin, I'm usually around the wikia and I'm pretty dependable with managing vandals. And you can alway revoke my status if I don't do a good job. PassiveNeoluna 03:09, June 2, 2010 (UTC)
- Sure Passive. Thing is: when I make someone admin, I like to leave it that way kind of...forever. The guy must be good and trustworthy enough in a constant basis for being made a admin, isn't like "oh, that user seems a good editor, I'll make him admin and then revoke if I don't like it."
And besides that, there's the time spent here. There are great users who are here for more than a year, they become Istruttore and when the opportunity appears, I offer them a chance to join the Admin Board. You've entered the Istruttorium a little time ago, so let's see how you do on the long run. Don't worry, I'll keep you in mind. As I do with every participative user here in wiki. -- D. About the Project[edit source]
Good day kind sir. I would like to mention something about the project Assassin's Creed Wiki:WikiProject/Hungerer of Knowledge. If we are going to detail the AC timeline, don't you think we should add the events that happened in Assassin’s Creed: Lineage? I could help out in summarizing the events if you like. It's just a suggestion. Please tell me what you think.
War Clown 13:29, June 2, 2010 (UTC)
- Good morning to you too, sir.
Absolutely, I think it's a great idea. =]
In the project's page, you can find the instructions to which categorize the articles (templates and other stuff), a nice userbox badge for inserting into your profile, and a membership box where you can add your name to the project. Also, there's a list of the events currently covered in the Timeline Project, so as you create them, you may add'em to the list for everybody else keep track. Go ahead, put your ideas into work.
If you have anything you want to discuss with me or need anything, you know where my talkpage is ;D -- D. Cello 16:14, June 2, 2010 (UTC)
On the same general note, when writing about any Assassin's Creed II history, should we include any of the extra stuff they put into Assassin's Creed: Renaissance if we come across something like how they make Claudia become a nun, all the extra romance with Cristina Vespucci, or even how Minerva doesn't talk to desmond in the book? (i know, big change) I would vote no, AC:Renaissance doesn't seem very connon, but that just me. --CarloGrimaldi 05:55, June 3, 2010 (UTC)
@D.Cello- I'm glad you think so. I'll begin to work on it :)
@CarloGrimaldi- I don't think we should include it. It's very different from the game, & some of the facts it has established wont add up to Brotherhood (for example, the death of Rodrigo Borgia. Apparently he dies in the novel, but it's been confirmed that he will be in Brotherhood). But that's just my opinion :) War Clown 07:47, June 3, 2010 (UTC)
BTW, How do you add userboxes? I barely touched my user page & would like to know how to add that badge you mentioned. Thanks in advance :) War Clown 09:17, June 3, 2010 (UTC)
- To WarClown: Forum:Presenting: Userboxes! Knock yourself out ;D
- To Carlo: AC:Renaissance is a novelization of AC2,what in general terms mean some creative liberties where tooked. Therefore, it is canon when it complimentsgame-info, but when it tries override, the games prevals. Read our sourcing policy for more info about canon.
Inpraticl erms we may say th AC is passed throg the Animus, so we have the direct, unaltered memories of that period. A book is written based on findings, and those findings might be subjective depending on the author. Stuff like a surname, which sometimes Ezio never heard, was researched by the book writer, like it's the case with Antonio. No last name in game, even in the Database, but the book gives it to us. -- D. Cello 17:09, June 3, 2010 (UTC) - okay, thanks, also, as long as were doing all the events in the series for the hungerer of knowledge project, shouldn't we put in desmonds modern day stuff too? like subject 16, subjuct 17 at ABSTERGO, escape from abstergo, time at assassins base, and discovery by vidic? (with better names than that) oh, and maybe the denver incedent, satellite launch, the whole new flouride scandal could be in there too, its up to you. CarloGrimaldi 02:36, June 4, 2010 (UTC)
Escape from Abstergo, Assassin's Hideout Assault, Denver Incindent, Tunguska Explosion: Yes. All others, no. Some aren't specific events and the satelite lauch hasn't happened yet, tough we could create a page with the current avaiable info about the subject. -- D. Cello 03:08, June 4, 2010 (UTC)
- Okay thanks, ill add those to the project goals, what about Altaïr post AC1, like Ghengis Khan and discovies using the apple? or are those too general to be considered events as well? (sorry to keep bothering you, i just dont want to thow something on there that shouldn't be) CarloGrimaldi 06:56, June 4, 2010 (UTC)
- Hey, no problem. I'm here for that. Nice initiative, by the way ;D About Genghis Khan and stuff post AC, we don't have many info about it. The hit on him and the codex stuff are relevant, but we unfortunaly don't have information about it to fill an entire article. But there's always the possibility that more will be brought on the subject, so you could creat those. One other thing I think would be a nice addition would be a Codex-related event page.
I like to define an important event as something that happens (either by a greater motive or not) and causes consequences and reprecussions after the event itself finished, something with a beggining, middle and end. The writing of the Codex by ALtaïr began because he needed to express his discoveries about hte piece of eden, but it turned out becoming a Assassins Order Manual, who in turn caused him to bring with away from the Middle East, which caused his son to kill Genghis Khan, who caused to codex to be found by Marco Polo, who brought it to Europe, who passed to Domenic Auditore, who lost it, and then Ezio found it again and restructured the Brotherhood. See how many things happened that wouldn't otherwise if the Codex hadn't be written? That's an important and relevant event ;D We could use a page about, just need to think of a nice name =P -- D. Altair's full image[edit source]
Hi D! Just dropped by to say that I'm going to download Fraps so I can take screen shots of Altair and his Saracen/Templar/Crusader enemies.
It's just that the image of Altair in his current page is not quite accurate. He no longer has 4/2 large knives on his belt in the game, his clothes are not that accurate to the game's, and in the end he obtains the Syrian Sword.
As for enemies, im going to take screenshots of:
Saracen/Teutonic/Templar/Hospitalier Captains, Guards, and Rookies. Those will not be their names here though, I will leave the naming to you.
Let me know what you thinkSoviet SPETSNAZ
- I think it's a great idea. About the Altaïr image, it's an Ubisoft official picture of his, high resolution and everything, and it's in the same molds as Ezio's picture for AC2. It's more official and "nice", matching picture for the article than a game play picture, since it don't have a background nor context and just shows Altaïr as what he is. So it would be better if we just leave it. But about the other pictures, guards, templars and stuff, it's a great idea. Don't worry about the name, in the Guards article we have a basic nomenclature and you can go free with it, just don't go over the top with stuff like "Seargent-Liutenant James Madison, Templar Captain of the 4th district of Jerusalem" and we will be fine. ;D
Any doubts, just ask me. -- D. Cello 02:08, June 5, 2010 (UTC)
Ok, I've uploaded a few pics of Altair in combat for the "combat/weapons tactics article". I'll begin taking a few pics of the enemies on a later date. Ill put them on the article now. Let me know what you think! Soviet SPETSNAZ 08:47, June 11, 2010 (UTC)
Update on the Lineage Articles[edit source]
Good day/afternoon/evening sir. I managed to summarize Part 1 of the Lineage series. But that's just the story part. I have yet to add things like links, images and infoboxes, because it get's rather messy. I'll add the links some other time. As for the templates, well...you see, I'm not as skilled at HTML as the other users here. That's why I can't use one of the templates set on the projects page. As for the images, the ones I have in stock are quite large, large enough to fill an entire section. So I can't use those.
I've managed to nail down the story, but I want to hear your opinion on it. Please tell me what you think: The Assassination of Galeazzo Sforza
Please give your honest opinion on it War Clown 13:14, June 4, 2010 (UTC)
- Looks good, nice writing, War, detailed but not over...boring. Looks good. About pictures, you can add to reduce the size. To make one of those white boxes with subtitle around the image, add |thumb|image's description before the "]]".
About the templates, it's pretty use, even I learned to use it =P In the infoboxes tempaltes pages there are instructions, you just need to copy the code from there and fill the lines that can be filled.
- For two-, three-, and four-way battles, use Template:Battle Infobox.
- For wars or other conflicts, use Template:War Infobox.
- For missions, use Template:Mission Infobox.
- For duels, use [Template:Duel].
- For campaigns, use [Template:Campaign].
- For general events, use Template:Event Infobox.
Also, add on top of every article about events. Actually, just read the Assassin's_Creed_Wiki:WikiProject/Hungerer_of_Knowledge|Timeline project page to get all you need to do in events pages. ;D
Anyquestions, just ask me. -- D. Cello 02:43, June 5, 2010 (UTC)
Alright, I'll get right on it as soon as I get home (Sorry, got somewhere to go to :D) War Clown 04:05, June 5, 2010 (UTC)
- Hey, we all got lives ;D No hurry. -- D. Cello 04:20, June 5, 2010 (UTC)
- UPDATE: Alright. I made some minor edits, added some links, and some images. I'm still working out the template, I'll get right on it tomorrow. Check it out and tell me what you think. BTW, which of the templates you mentioned do I use? Thanks a bunch :D War Clown 16:44, June 5, 2010 (UTC)
- Looks good, but the pictures size could be increased a bit. I would use either the Duel or the Event template, the choice is up to you. -- D. Cello 17:13, June 5, 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, I got a couple of questions. I'm getting the hang of these templates, but I just want to know some things
- How do I separate (or collapse) the collapsible sections?
- Since its written in code, how do i add images? Do I have to get their code or something?
- My final question. Where did you get the Big Daddy userbox? I want one too XD
And that's all my questions. Thanks in advance :D War Clown 05:59, June 6, 2010 (UTC)
Nice to hear it. =]
- The collapsible sections are minimized by clicking the link "hide" in it after the template has been inserted.
- Images must be added like this: |image=
- And the Big Daddy userbox is one of my private boxes XD Just add the following code to where you want the userbox placed:

This box is one of my most beloved wikithings, treat it well, or I'll come after you ;D -- D. Cello 06:32, June 6, 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for the Big Daddy userbox. Don't worry, I'll treat it well XD
- By separating, I meant, like adding a bulleted list in the template. Like the ones in the Battle of Arsuf. How do I do that?
- And about the template on inserting an image. Do I upload the image, type in a name, and just type in the name of the image?
- Additional question. Are adding links within the template the same as adding links as I would an article?
Sorry if I'm asking too many questions. I just want to be sure :D War Clown 13:24, June 6, 2010 (UTC)
- Articles and bulleted lists work the same way they do within articless. and to links and lines beggining with * for lists.
About images, yes, what you said was right. Add images using the Upload link in the left sidebar, put a relevant name, select a license (or the image will be deleted) and if possible, add a category in the description/summary section by writing . And Big Daddies are awesome XD -- D. Cello 19:28, June 6, 2010 (UTC) - UPDATE: Alright. Finished. The bullet list and linking was getting rather messy, so I just made the infobox simple and clean. Check it out if you have the time. BTW, you said we should list all the important events that happened. If so, then is the 2nd and 3rd part of Lineage considered important? I'm not implying it isn't important, I'm just asking if I should summarize it as well. Thanks in advance. And yeah, Big Daddies are awesome!!! XD War Clown 07:58, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
I... ahm... didn't... aham... I din't watch Lineage 2 and 3
I'll have to ge back to you on that later x.x but if you think there was an important event, duel or mission, go ahead and start working on it.
And the article looks better now. That's the nice thing about project, o ustrt and do what you can, and then other members come and improve it. =] -- D. Cello 18:16, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
You haven't watched 2 or 3 yet? Well...there's always YouTube XD,
but I think it's nothing too important. In part 2, Giovanni intercepts a messenger and gives an encrypted message (which he took from the messenger) to the Medici, and Part 3 he delivers the letter (because the Medici "couldn't decipher it", as implied by Messer Uberto Alberti) to Rome and follows the message as people pass it along. He eventually stumbles upon a church, where Rodrigo and his men, fight it out with Giovanni. Giovanni wins of course, but was severely wounded by Borgia's throwing knife, which cause him to retreat to Florence.
......I just summarized Part 2 and Part 3 XD. But that's all the events that actually mattered in the last 2 parts of Lineage. If you think they are important, let me know and I'll get right on it War Clown 08:04, June 8, 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks XD Nice summary. I actually have Lineage Full Version HD in my PC, but I *just* can't watch it, like some divine force or something... called laziness =P
Do we know what the letter contained? If it was something important, that affected AC2 or led to other events, we could make something about that. And the hidden blade? Do they show how Giovanni's blade was broken? If so, we could make one about it too, from the circunstances that led to the moment it broke, until the time Leo Da Vinci fixed it. =] -- D. Cello 17:20, June 8, 2010 (UTC)- Well, the letter itself is an encrypted letter that WAS deciphered, but Uberto told the Medici otherwise, and suggested it to be delivered to Rome, and that Giovanni should tail the couriers. I don't think that letter contained anything of importance, because it was barely mentioned in the game. And yes, Part 3 showed how Giovanni's hidden blade broke apart. It was during the fight with Rodrigo's men. Is it that important? I don't really know, but if it IS important, let me know :D War Clown 04:15, June 9, 2010 (UTC)
- I think it is something relevant, but not sure if it's enough for an event related page. We could create a mission page for the courier/letter thing, and a duel page for the confrontation between Borgia and Giovanni, since the blade's breaking was a consequence from that. -- D. Cello 05:39, June 9, 2010 (UTC)
- How about we put 2 and 3 in the same article? That would make things easier War Clown 12:01, June 9, 2010 (UTC)
Fandom Page[edit source]
I think we should have a fandom page here, for the most popular fandoms such as Vidic being Al Mualim and Borgia's descendant, the Feudal Japan setting, ect.Beirut 13:27, June 6, 2010 (UTC)
- I don't particularly approve it, but if the demand is great, we may implement a project to it. Tell you what: You go ahead and think about how doing it, maybe even create some test version on a Sandbox. When you have something finished, we'll put it to vote for the community to approve. Deal? -- D. Cello 19:25, June 6, 2010 (UTC)
Pictures[edit source]
Hey D i have lots of new pictures i dont know if they would be considered Wiki quality i would upload them on my User Page but its in BMP format not PNG or JPG do you know anyway i can upload them in another way Auditor(e) 03:41, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
- Open them in Paint, go to File menu, choose Save as and change the format to jpeg or jpg. -- D. Cello 03:43, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
Nevermind ive figured it out ill upload them to my Usertalk Page
121.72.175.217 03:46, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
- Usertalk no, Lucan, userpage. Try to keep things organized, Talkpages are for the community to contact you. -- D. Cello 03:50, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
Okay got it Auditor(e) 04:01, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
Ill upload the rest later i have to do something
Auditor(e) 04:10, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
- Hey, no hurry, kid ;D -- D. Cello 04:11, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
Okay I uploaded all 4 Wiki Quality ones to my Userpage I may have a few more good ones but I have around 30 Pics I'll try take some more today btw is it best it best if the Screenshots dont have the HUD visible in them?
- No HUD = Better, ye. -- D. Cello 23:26, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
So what do you think of them? are they good enough to go in an article? the 1st one is i think with the Herald
Auditor(e) 23:51, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
When i have time if you want i can take some photos of things just tell me what of k?
Auditor(e) 00:31, June 8, 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, they all seem to be of pretty good quality. Whichever picture you bring, we can probably use it somewhere ;D -- D. Cello 00:40, June 8, 2010 (UTC)
Well feel free to use any of them you want i took them for this wiki i do have a few that are just for fun but most are not also do you know the place where i could put my photo of Ezios White Eyes when he counters with fists i think there used to be a trivia section on the Fists page i could have put it in but its not there anymore got any ideas where i could put it instead maybe in the Bugs/Glitches article?
Auditor(e) 00:55, June 8, 2010 (UTC)
- Bug/Glitches would be a good place. -- D. Cello 00:57, June 8, 2010 (UTC)
The AC:Bloodlines Articles[edit source]
This is an unrelated subject on the Lineage articles, so I'm going to say it here. After clearing AC:Bloodlines (for the 3rd time), I decided to help out in making out the story line in the project pages. So I went there, and encountered some tiny problems that I'm going to point out.
- Confrontation with Maria: I think this should be merged with the Assault on Acre's harbor article. The encounter with Maria barely lasted a minute (at least, on my playthrough) and think this shouldn't be an independent article. So it should be merged with the Acre article.
- Travelling to Cyprus: I think this should be renamed. The game is pretty much set in Cyprus, it's not really about Altair travelling TO Cyprus, its about Altair's journey IN Cyprus.
- Travelling East: Bloodlines never did cover Altair's journey to the East. It was (SPOILERS!!!!!) at the ending, that Altair mentions that he will head East, which is what Maria said, after their fight with Bouchart.
And that's it. Tell me what you think on what I pointed out :D War Clown 15:16, June 8, 2010 (UTC)
- Other users created those names and events, and most don't have my refined sense for dramatic titles =P
Go ahead, make any changes you want. Actually, due to your intense participation, I was thinking about making you chief editor. What you say? -- D. Cello 17:31, June 8, 2010 (UTC)- Whoa, Chief Editor? You mean like the Istruttori? Really? ME!? Well, What are the privileges (and responsibilities) in being Chief Editor? I would just like to know before accepting. I don't want to be taking a role I cant handle :D War Clown 04:32, June 9, 2010 (UTC)
- XD Basically, your role would be to keep an eye on articles, create the ones missing, coordinate efforts aand... keep writing =P
As for privileges, you get rollback rights and can wear a nice badge on your profile (I actually have to create it yet, maybe tomorrow..).
It's mostly what you are already doing: writing, expanding and stuff, but you'll have some authority if any issue arises.
You're in? -- D. Cello 04:43, June 9, 2010 (UTC) - So, basically what I've been doing all this time, that's what Chief Editor's do? Then I'm In! XD War Clown 05:05, June 9, 2010 (UTC)
- Follow-up: I cant rename the pages. There's no move link on the Cyprus article. What do I do? War Clown 05:33, June 9, 2010 (UTC)
Great! Read this for more info about your new rollback rights. Also, check the new projects page. When I finish the userbox I'll send you a message and the link to use it.
You're in charge of the project now, don't dissapoint me. ;D Or I will remove your Big Daddy userbox. XD -- D. Cello 05:37, June 9, 2010 (UTC)
Alright. I've put in the userbox. And here's the link:Travelling to Cyprus. When I idle on it, it says (Page doesn't exist), so I'm guessing it isn't created yet. So, about that Pineapple Ice Cream....XD War Clown 11:35, June 9, 2010 (UTC)
While I'm at it, I would just like to request the Confrontation with Maria and Travelling East be deleted. I've already pointed out the reasons up there. Once all of this is done, I'll begin editing. Oh, by the way, should I list my name in the project members list? Thanks in advance War Clown 11:59, June 9, 2010 (UTC)
- Any page that has the button "Create" on top and no content ISN'T created, so no need to delete it. Just change the link name on the projects page and you're good to go.
About lineage (and any other source), the events are divided in the project page for easy organization, but the event itself described in a page doesn't need to be restrained to one instance, be it game, movie, books or parts 1, 2, etc. -- D. Cello 00:48, June 10, 2010 (UTC)- One more thing: since you're a member of the project, ye, you have to add your name to the members box. -- D. Cello 00:55, June 10, 2010 (UTC)
- Well, I would I add my name there, if the box wasn't so outstretched. When I view the template, the edit is stretched to the farthest right, so its out of reach. I don't how to add my name :P. Oh, and the Lineage articles, you're saying we should make Part 2 and 3 separate articles? War Clown 04:10, June 10, 2010 (UTC)
No, I'm telling you to create on article with the relevant info from both parts. -- D. Cello 04:37, June 10, 2010 (UTC)
Ok, I'll get on it later. I just saw your edit on the projects page on the Bloodlines articles. I was just editing the Assault on Acre's harbor article, then saw this new one listed. I thought you just renamed it, but when I clicked on it, it was empty. What should I do with the other one? War Clown 04:45, June 10, 2010 (UTC)
- Never mind, kid, the old title was better anyway. I'll change it back ;D -- D. Cello 04:54, June 10, 2010 (UTC)
- Why do I feel insulted when someone calls me kid? XD War Clown 04:59, June 10, 2010 (UTC)
- Well, get used to it. I do that a lot XD
But I assure it isn't in a offensive way.;D<br.About the lineage articles, you told me that Borgia fought Giovanni and broke his blade, right? Maybe we can create a duel event page for that, what do you think? -- D. Cello 05:06, June 10, 2010 (UTC) - Well, it wasn't really Borgia, it was his men. Borgia only threw a knife that nearly killed Giovanni after he killed all of his men. When Giovanni fought Borgia's men, that's when the blade broke apart. Is a duel completely restricted to 2? If it is, then the event really isn't much of a duel when one is against 8-9 men. I'll get back to this conversation later. See you later D! XD War Clown 05:15, June 10, 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, a duel here can be classified as a very small scale battle. We ca unse it, since it was One against 10. -- D. Cello 05:46, June 10, 2010 (UTC)
- So, we're going to summarize the fight only? War Clown 07:38, June 10, 2010 (UTC)
- I think so. You said the letter wasn't relevant, right? -- D. Cello 16:19, June 10, 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah. Giovanni took it from a messenger in Part 2 and delivered it and tail the messengers in 3. After he followed the couriers, the letter barely mattered, because he fought Borgia's men War Clown 04:27, June 11, 2010 (UTC)
Ranking article of AC1[edit source]
Hi D. Cello, i've given it some thoughts about starting a project on ranking system of Assassins creed 1. As you said theres alot of indicators as robe colors length, belt and weapons. I've come up with some idears.. and even though i said i wouldn't take part in it because of lack of experience in the wiki world, i've begun my self to look into it automatically... And now the idea has begun to grow on me and i think i would love to start such a project.
Right now i sit with some stupid questions:
- What is expected of you when starting a project?
- What are the rules for it? and such...
I need to know what i put my self up to ;) ~
- Projects Official Page
- What is expected is that you... well, you keep the thing moving, basically. You edit, set the objectives and stuff and recrute people (or just let them come) to help you put the project in motion. You also have to keep an eye on the articles to make sure they are doing well and nobody messes them up. The rule is simply for strive for the best possible outcome of every article on the project. If you want, I can create the project page for you with templates and etc, and put you in charge of it. Just start thinking of a good picture that represent ranks to use in the headers =P -- D. Cello 17:33, June 8, 2010 (UTC)
New Project[edit source]
I think we need a new project one detailing all the landmarks in the Database for Venice Forli Tuscany Florence. I cant think of a name though any suggestions?. I could head the Project I wouldn't mind but I dont know that much about Templates and I dont want to create it instantly because im currently un-well, ill, sick, whatever you wanna call it and probably wont be able to manage it as i would be able to otherwise.
Seeee what i mean that that was one (strangely for me) posh message :)
Auditor(e) 21:14, June 8, 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry, kid. You need to explain better you idea to me, I didn't got a thing from what you wrote. And since you're explaining things... "posh"? -- D. Cello 01:13, June 9, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah that would be annoying
Update pictures with white backing[edit source]
If you want I can make your Official "Portraits" of characters with white backgrounds (Eg: Altair's Portrait) transparent with the wiki, so they look more professional.

Here's an example;
Kind of looks more like a apart of the wiki. :D
EDIT: Make sure to view in full view. :D
The Theif 04:38, June 14, 2010 (UTC)
- Some pictures indeed look better. For characters with official images, like Altaïr, Ezio and alike, we better keep them. But for characters like guards, assassins and etc, we could use those.
Also, I noticed that part of Shaun's shirt near the left shoulder is transparent too. Watch out for that ;D -- D. Cello 04:50, June 14, 2010 (UTC) - ----
- Alright, I had originally already done Ezio and Altair aswell, But no worries, if you don't like them that's alright.

- Yeah, Shaun came out kind of crappy. Altair looks awesome tho :P
- What pictures do you want me to make transparent? I'll see what I can do. But pictures with really colourful/detailed backgrounds might not come out as great as ones with simple animus/white backings.

- The Theif 06:19, June 14, 2010 (UTC)
- Desmond looks good, you can go ahead and replace the one on his page.
Also, you MUST provide a license for the pictures, or they will have to be deleted. =/ -- D. Cello 18:34, June 14, 2010 (UTC) - ---
- Desmond looks good, you can go ahead and replace the one on his page.
- Sure, also feel free to contact me whenever you need a picture edited. The Theif 06:09, June 15, 2010 (UTC)
- Also, are you keeping the wiki with a white background? Because now there is no point in me taking the white bg away, haha. i'll revert my Desmond picture.
E3 Trailer's out![edit source]
Like the AC II cinematic trailer, it's kick-ass! I don't have a HD video yet, only this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_9pebzcj_Js but I guess, gametrailers.com or ubi themselves will be releasing one.--PhantomT1412 12:23, June 14, 2010 (UTC)
- Here's a link that works: http://www.gamer.nl/video/58831/breng-de-paus-een-bezoekje-in-assassins-creed-brotherhood The site is in Dutch though, I gues you better find an English one. -- Master Sima Yi 14:53, June 14, 2010 (UTC)
Awesome trailer! Unfortunaly, Sima beat me to it and posted the news. I din't like that, Sima, and I'll have to let you go =/ You're revoked from admin status from this moment...
ooor... maybe not. XD -- D. Cello 18:34, June 14, 2010 (UTC)
- I'd beat you up if you did that XD. I figured that I'd post it myself so that all of the AC fans who check here for news want to see that as fast as possible. =P Only the stupid thing takes too long to properly show the blog post... -- Master Sima Yi 18:43, June 14, 2010 (UTC)
For starters, you're all up there in Netherlands, and I play football and hockey twice a week, you know. XD It wouldn't be the smart thing to try to beat me =P
And yeah, the blog refresh is kind of unstable. Sometimes it shows up immediately, sometimes later, sometimes appears to some users but to others it take longer. Go figure. -- D. Cello 19:21, June 14, 2010 (UTC)
Hey[edit source]
Sorry I haven't been around for awhile. I got my hands on MGS: Peace Walker, and I just couldn't stop playing XD! Anyway, I'll get right on the timeline, but that's not the only reason why I'm here. I've been searching on Google for some days now, looking for a plugin that can do screenshots on the PSP. And yeah, no luck. I was hoping that you would know who was the one who uploaded the screenshots from AC Bloodlines. So, "Would you Kindly point me to him/her?" Thanks in advance :D War Clown 10:28, June 15, 2010 (UTC)

Hi[edit source]
Hello, I am a bureaucrat of Assassin's Creed Wikia in Spanish.I wanted to ask you one thing. Can we take information of your wikia and translate it to the Spanish for my Wikia ? User:Niko Bellic 2008
- Hey there, Bellic. Nice to hear from our spanish brothers =]
Users here have been working on the articles very hard for a long time, so as long as you provide the source from us on the articles you translate, I don't see a problem. -- D. Cello 22:17, June 18, 2010 (UTC)- OK,I expect to not cause inconveniences User:Niko Bellic 2008

Ezio's picture[edit source]
Why are we not allowed to change Ezio's picture? I mean his template picture. -- Master Sima Yi 19:12, June 20, 2010 (UTC)
- It's not you are "not allowed". When we made Altaïr's article the first featured, he became kind of the standard, the manual-of-style one. His picture is an official screen from ubisoft, and ubi released a image in the same way with AC2. That picture is of high quality, represents Ubi view on the character and shows all of his clothing, weapons and body. In addition to keeping it in synch with Altaïr's page, a trailer print of Ezio's face and beard aren't as representative as the main article pic page than a full bodyshot.
The template image is the one that goes to main page, the one that summarizes the character. His face and beard just don't cut it. If they release a official Brotherhood image of him like that, we may change it. (I think they have, actually) -- D. Cello 22:33, June 20, 2010 (UTC)

Dicussing a format[edit source]
I was thinking of doing this format for the "No Hitter" Achievement page.
Method 1
Requirements:
Start the "Peacekeeper" Assassination mission in Florence. Once you reach the mission area, wait for the patrolling Brutes to come near the stationary group. Provoke one of the brutes with a throwing knife and quickly switch to the smoke bombs to stop them. Switch to the dual hidden blades and kill the Brutes. Deploy another smokebomb after eight seconds in as the smoke will dissipate. Switch to the hidden blades again to finish off the remaining Brutes.
Method 2
Requirements:
- Smoke bombs
- Dual Hidden Blades
Start the "Leader of the Pack" Assassination mission in Florence. Stalk the leader to meeting where it is similar to an enclosed garden. Climb up the wall, jump down into the restricted area and throw a smoke bomb. Kill some guards trying to achieve as many double kills as possible. Once five guards are dead, throw another smoke bomb and kill another five. There are at least 16+ Standard Guards, 1 Brute, and 1 Agile. You should deal with the brute last. Kill the agile if you want to finish the mission. You might be lucky if the brute has a spear where you can easily perform the "Sweeper" Achievement/Trophy
What is your opinion of this? --a Lunatic 05:16, June 21, 2010 (UTC)
- Looks good. Just remember to add links to the missions in question (e.g. Leader of the Pack, Peacekeeper, etc). -- D. Cello 16:30, June 21, 2010 (UTC)
Well I'm not sure how to link the to the subheadings of Assassination Contract, may you tell me how? a Lunatic 16:54, June 21, 2010 (UTC)
- Article Name#Subheading section name -- D. Cello 16:55, June 21, 2010 (UTC)
It doesn't seem to work when I used the template, what did I do incorrectly? a Lunatic 20:59, June 22, 2010 (UTC)
- What? -- D. Cello 22:34, June 22, 2010 (UTC)
I followed how the template was laid out but the it did not direct to the subheading and just give an awkward link. a Lunatic 00:42, June 23, 2010 (UTC)
- There is no template involved whatsoever, Luna. -- D. Cello 01:34, June 23, 2010 (UTC)
Oh, that explains a lot, anyway I linked all the contract and missions to the respective articles anyway. a Lunatic 01:45, June 23, 2010 (UTC)

About one particular user[edit source]
I don't know why, but I figured I'd say this to you in the tone of "This Old Man". Ok, here goes:
"This one man, he made [New Character|this], he made [New crectherr|this] and [New crecther|this] and [New Character.|this]. They're all the same, please go and check them out, so I know what's going on"
And there XD War Clown 11:53, June 25, 2010 (UTC)

How do I start a Duel Article?[edit source]
What do I do when making a Duel Event? Do I detail every person's moves? Do I write their monologues and dialogues before a fight? The events that lead up to the duel? The weapons they use? Their methods of attacking? I just don't know how to start one. Thanks in advance :D War Clown 13:19, June 26, 2010 (UTC)
- Eerr.... I never really tought about it. Just add the relevant stuff. Add some quotes, some important movements, profile, etc, but we don't need a transcription of the battle or something like that =P -- D. Cello 14:52, June 26, 2010 (UTC)
- Alright then, I'll do my best to make a decent one, thanks! :D War Clown 15:04, June 26, 2010 (UTC)

Vandal[edit source]
i would like to bring to your attention that we have a registered vandal. he is J.h.jaraub and his users boxes say he is an editor. in his latest contributions he has replaced text (and in one instance an entire section) with jibberish. i implore you to discipline him.
Best, DR.X

Marcello, this is Neoluna and I'm requesting something grave for me. I need my account to be locked away since a hacker breached my computer (I'm using a different one to access here) and wiped out a lot of my online accounts. I cannot renew my password since this hacker took over my main e-mail. I maybe gone for awhie until I get everything straightened out. I hope the best for the wikia and try to get in contant if I can. 96.55.128.217 04:23, July 10, 2010 (UTC)
- It's done, kiddo. Best of luck at fighting it, let me know when everythings okay. =] -- D. Cello 04:54, July 10, 2010 (UTC)
I can't access my email account indefinitely. Is there I way that I can do a password reset with a different email account? If not, it's best if I just deactivate my account. =( 96.55.128.217 13:58, July 14, 2010 (UTC)
