Administrator[edit source]
Hey. As this Wiki doesn't have an active administrator, I was wondering if this is a position that you'd be interested in taking. You have shown that you are dedicated to this Wiki and making sure things are in a good order/categorized correctly. Let me know if this is something you'd be interested in and I can go ahead and make it happen. - Wagnike2 22:31, November 20, 2009 (UTC)
- Congrats, you are this Wiki's newest admin! For more information on what an administrator does and doesn't do please check out this page. Assassin's_Creed_Wiki:Administrators . If you have any other questions, feel free to hit me up on my talk page. - Wagnike2 23:22, November 20, 2009 (UTC)
- A VfD would be an acronym for Voting for Deletion. While you can't technically call a "vote", normally you mark the article for deletion by Categorizing as an article for deletion. Then you normally use the talk page of it to say why you think it should be deleted or not. Usually my rule of thumb is to give the other members a few days to respond on that talk page, if nobody responds go ahead and make the deletion. Another option that you could do is create a new topic on the forum and discuss if it should be deleted or not. Hope that helps. - Wagnike2 03:00, November 21, 2009 (UTC)
Your reply[edit source]
If you read my edit to the AC2 article, you'd see that it may be released in J,F or M
as stated[edit source]
in my forum, Davinci refuses to open his door, not literally mind u, but figuratively, I'm thinking this is a glitch, but cant be sure, since i got the last 10 codex pages in a row, without getting them identified in between, now i can enter the room where i take the stuff, but he isn't there to decode them, nor is he answering his door in Venice where i thought he'd be, nor is he in the other place..wherever he was at first, i figured he wouldn't be there but i had to look, so does he move to the villa or what? cause without finding him and getting these decoded, i cant continue.Toolazytomakeaaccount 07:20, November 21, 2009 (UTC)
Vandalism/Categorizing[edit source]
Hey. I just thought I'd point out these two pages to you: Assassin's_Creed_II_Quotes. I don't know if those quotes are true or not, but they seem false, however since I haven't played the game I can't confirm it as vandalism or not. And secondly, Notoriety needs some categorizing. - Wagnike2 21:10, November 21, 2009 (UTC)

Re: Quotes[edit source]
I can vouch for the quotes as I played the game through not 2 days ago. I don't have any source sadly. You only have my word.- Leitchy117 11:58, November 22, 2009 (AEST)
thought id mention[edit source]
since your the only active administrator...that i happen to have on my watchlist anyway..i figured id mention what id posted on (http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Talk:Piece_of_Eden), just trying to make sure it gets to someone's attention, as i might not be the only one who could have feelings about this, needless to say i felt it needed to be said.Toolazytomakeaaccount 08:23, November 22, 2009 (UTC)
Congrats![edit source]
Hi there~! You might not know me, but I used to edit here a lot and was on wikibreak. I decided to come back, and I found that this wiki already has an admin~! Finally someone can delete those pages XD Well, let's work together from now on~! :D - SilverSummonerTaLk 02:27, November 23, 2009 (UTC)
Re:Main Page[edit source]
For featured article, you want to use the Template:FA. From there you should be able to figure out what it is, it's pretty self-explanatory and it gives you the option to write your own information instead of just merely copying the top part of the articles. For featured media, use the Template:FM, again this section should be self explanatory. Just change the file names and the information to what you like. I'm not positive if you can schedule featured articles for a day of the week, I can get back to you on that as soon as I find out. But for now, my advice would be to just change the feature article/featured media like once a week. Maybe each Monday? - Wagnike2 18:02, November 23, 2009 (UTC)
Messed up![edit source]
Ey dude i believe i messsd up here http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Assassin%27s_Creed_Voice_Actors
All the way above something about a template, you might wanna delete that, oh and yeah i just made a new page:D Phillip Shahbaz, Altair's voice actor!
Voice Actors Format/Template[edit source]
Since we don't really have a "designated template" for Voice Actors. I think it would be best if we try to get pages to adhere as closely to this page as possible. I know different pages will have different categories, they may not all have quotes, or videos, but I think this works pretty well. Philip Shahbaz - Wagnike2 18:28, November 23, 2009 (UTC)
- Might as well keep the quote feature for now how it is, I realize that it doesn't pop out that much against this background, but neither did the old format. Plus, quotes aren't that big of a concern. If I can think of a better format for it later, I'll change it up. - Wagnike2 18:46, November 23, 2009 (UTC)
Re: Welcome[edit source]
Thanks, I'll try to do as much helping as I can on the wiki. VaultBoy101 02:51, November 25, 2009 (UTC)
Category[edit source]
this is what I have in mind, though :
under Assassin's Creed Series main category
- Games
- Assassin's Creed
- Assassin's Creed Characters
- Assassin's Creed Assassination Targets
- Assassin's Creed Voice Actors
- Locations, Gameplay, Weapons (not sure about this one.. maybe we can just create a page called "list of weapons" and dump in under gameplay category.
- Assassin's Creed Characters
- Assassin's Creed II
- Assassin's Creed II Characters
- Assassin's Creed II Assassination Targets
- Assassin's Creed II Locations, gameplay, etc... same as the first game.
- Assassin's Creed II Characters
- Assassin's Creed
- Locations
- Assassin's Creed Locations
- Assassin's Creed II Locations
- Characters
- Assassin's Creed Characters
- Assassin's Creed II Characters
- Assassination Targets
- Assassin's Creed Assassination Targets
- Assassin's Creed II Assassination Targets
- Weapons (That is, if we decided to not dump the weapon page inside gameplay)
- Assassin's Creed Weapons
- Assassin's Creed II Weapons
- Gameplay
- Assassin's Creed Gameplay
- Assassin's Creed II Gameplay
This is currently what I have in mind I'll add more later on~ ^^ - SilverSummonerTaLk 02:56, November 27, 2009 (UTC)
- Great, I've seen you're already implementing it. The weapons category seems to be working alright and is coherent, I think we could leave it. =] -- D. Cello 15:40, November 28, 2009 (UTC)
Thanks[edit source]
Hey, thanks for the welcome. I'm just glad I can contribute what I can for the AC wiki. More power to this wiki!
Thanks for changing what i wrote on Subject 16, you made what i said sound 10X better! (Death by Spoon! 02:33, February 13, 2010 (UTC))
Antonio Maffei[edit source]
just a question: is antonio maffei (assassination target in san gimignano in ac2) is the same father maffei in lineage?
- Yep, that's him. The conspirator, right? And remember, sign your posts. ; ] -- D. Cello 15:33, November 30, 2009 (UTC)
- @D. Cello: thanks. the info's helpful for the improvement of AC Lineage -- Crimson Psyche 16:01, November 30, 2009 (UTC)
re:wiki Improve[edit source]
- eh.. you can just call me Silver XD
- That'd be great, of course. May I know what is your idea? =D - SilverSummonerTaLk 15:37, November 30, 2009 (UTC)
I'm not gonna copy the answer here. xD Where it's gonna be, my place or yours? -- D. Cello 19:28, November 30, 2009 (UTC)
Checking in.[edit source]
I figured that I'd check in with you, see how things have been going since you became admin, and ask if there is anything that I could help you out with at the moment. - Wagnike2 19:26, November 30, 2009 (UTC)
Gallery question[edit source]
Hey D. Cello, I've got a question. Is there a way to make an image gallery minimize/expand? I've been uploading a bunch of pictures, and I don't want to overpower my user page.
- I use my capture card to record a quick HD movie, then I just take screenshots :) --Zwoooooosh 22:18, November 30, 2009 (UTC)
Clever. =] -- D. Cello 02:53, December 1, 2009 (UTC)
Sure. I just started a new playthrough yesterday so it'll be no trouble to get images. :) --Zwoooooosh 11:27, December 1, 2009 (UTC)
- Youtube videos are allowed, right? I'm uploading a bunch now (targets video), and I didn't think to check.
They are, but make sure to leave a spoiler tag or they will be removed. -- D. Cello 17:53, December 1, 2009 (UTC)
- Fair enough. I don't think the videos are anymore harmful than actually reading the wiki, but I'll spoiler tag 'em. :)
A video showing the target and location of a story assassination can upset a great number of people. It's like a walkthrough with images. Instead of putting a spoiler bar, you can just advertise about the content. ;]-- D. Cello 18:38, December 1, 2009 (UTC)
- Oh sorry, maybe I should've been more specific. The video doesn't show the assassination, its their database entry. Here, there's a link to all 9 on my user page. If you still think its a little too risky, I'll keep using spoilers. --Zwoooooosh 18:47, December 1, 2009 (UTC)
Oh, fantastic! Don't worry, those need no spoiler tag at all. -- D. Cello 18:49, December 1, 2009 (UTC)
- Hey, I uploaded a bunch of screenshots from sequence 03. Probably more than you wanted, but you can just pick which ones you want to use and leave the others. :) --Zwoooooosh 00:17, December 2, 2009 (UTC)
Great, that's nice. Keep posting, we'll sure make use of them ;]. You don't happen to have a screen from Ezio as Altaïr, has you? -- D. Cello 12:57, December 3, 2009 (UTC)
- I've uploaded a couple more images today, including two of Ezio in Altair's outfit. In my gallery, as always. :) --Zwoooooosh 22:54, December 3, 2009 (UTC)
Don't suppose you mean like this, do you? I took it earlier, dunno if its what you're looking for. Would you prefer a picture of Altair's armor (on the armor stand or Ezio) + the entire statue? --Zwoooooosh 19:34, December 6, 2009 (UTC)
- Alright, uploaded a bunch more images. Hopefully ones good enough. :) --Zwoooooosh 20:36, December 6, 2009 (UTC)
Fantastic work, friend. Not words enough for what you're doing, keep up! ;D -- D. Cello 20:38, December 6, 2009 (UTC)
Oh wow, thanks bud, I appreciate being included. :D --Zwoooooosh 22:47, December 8, 2009 (UTC)
Zwoosh, think you can get some pictures with the Codex ilustrations, like pages 2 and 3, pls? -- D. Cello 20:54, December 24, 2009 (UTC)
- Done! :) --Zwoooooosh 22:03, December 26, 2009 (UTC)
Fantastico, Zwoosh. You're definitely a perfect addition to the Istruttori. -- D. Cello 22:13, December 26, 2009 (UTC)
Sure bud, I'll get a couple tomorrow. :) --Zwoooooosh 20:28, January 11, 2010 (UTC)
- And here they are. View Point and Leap of Faith and a little something extra. Factions
Checco Orsi is able to wound Ezio when trying to retrieve the apple. Ezio falls to the ground, dropping the apple, then Savonarola steals it. :) --Zwoooooosh 15:00, January 29, 2010 (UTC)
Amelia is on my to-do list, I'll try to get to it tomorrow. And Mario and the rest of the Auditore family are listed as Ezio/Mario/Mario/etc. Auditore in the animus database, no da Firenze. --Zwoooooosh 21:16, February 7, 2010 (UTC)
- Alright, got some pictures of Amelia. :) A little disappointed there's no database picture of her, but oh well. --Zwoooooosh 13:33, February 12, 2010 (UTC)
- And I'm loving the userboxes. :) I've added some to my home page. --Zwoooooosh 13:45, February 12, 2010 (UTC)
Ahah, looks great. :D --Zwoooooosh 11:25, February 14, 2010 (UTC)
I have a question about galleries. What pages are allowed to have them? PassiveNeoluna 23:14, March 13, 2010 (UTC)
There are no strict rules about it, but I personally don't like them. I recommend the use on articles that have too many pictures and the images can't be integrated into the text swiftly. -- D. Cello 23:18, March 13, 2010 (UTC)
So it's best if I avoid placing galleries in character pages and just remove pictures? It seems to be a problem for pictures to be laid out properly in pages with little text. PassiveNeoluna 23:36, March 13, 2010 (UTC)
No, pictures shouldn't be removed. If there's no way to integrate them, then add a gallery. If the page in question already has integrated pictures succesfully, no need to move them to a gallery. -- D. Cello 23:54, March 13, 2010 (UTC)
I'll do it then, thank you for clarifying. PassiveNeoluna 00:36, March 14, 2010 (UTC)
More of a response, I think all the pictures pretty much sum the entire thing and I won't be adding anything else. But if you feel that I intergrated too many, i'll remove them. PassiveNeoluna 19:56, April 5, 2010 (UTC)
No need for that, leave it there. But we already have too many pictures and the article's becoming crumpled. -- D. Cello 20:21, April 5, 2010 (UTC)
RE: ATeam[edit source]
Sure, I'm happy to help the wikia out in any way that I can. So sign me up to the ATeam! :) --Zwoooooosh 10:06, December 23, 2009 (UTC)
Just saw your codex message, I'll work on that on the 26th. :) I have a question, though. I just tried to make a post in the Instruttorium Chamber, and ended up making a forum, apparently. >_< Sorry about that. Could you remove it and tell me how to use the chamber? --Zwoooooosh 00:20, December 25, 2009 (UTC)
- I believe you did the right thing, the problem is at the forum itself... I'll see what happened. -- D. Cello 05:00, December 25, 2009 (UTC)
Cape Question[edit source]
Hey D.Cello how am i supposed to get the forli cape? i finished the main storyline, am i missing anything?--Shadows473 03:20, December 1, 2009 (UTC)
- You need to find 100 feathers. Good hunting. -- D. Cello 03:26, December 1, 2009 (UTC)
Thankers--Shadows473 00:26, December 2, 2009 (UTC)
... what Forlì cape? Finding 100 feathers gives you the Auditore cape. Am I missing some estranged piece of knowledge? --Aftyn 05:44, December 3, 2009 (UTC)
- Then I misundertstood the cape in question... -- D. Cello 12:47, December 3, 2009 (UTC)
The ONLY capes available are in order of obtaining The Plain Cape The Medici Cape The Venetian and The Auditore Cape which can be obtained if you collect 100 Feathers so you have to have access to all cities and places containing Feathers so unless there's a secret cape in Forlí you must have meant one of the above.

Greetings[edit source]
I don't know whether that was an auto thanks message for my edit from the website, but if not then no problem. And please tell me some articles that you would like someone to edit some things if he knows.I'd like to help out.

Later...
- Hey. If you know about Machiavelli, that would be a good place to start... And you can check the article stubs section to see which articles need expanding. -- D. Cello 18:44, December 1, 2009 (UTC)
Sword Replica Image[edit source]
It's impossible to tell the true source of the picture. All the websites where they sell the replica of the sword use that same picture. Do a simple Google Image of "Altair sword", which is how I stumbled onto it. -- OpVines 20:27, December 1, 2009 (UTC)
DLC[edit source]
Hey man, I noticed that the DLC was officially announced today so I updated the main page news, updated the ACII template, and created a page for the Assassin's Creed II DLC. Keep up the good work around here. - Wagnike2 20:30, December 1, 2009 (UTC)
new template[edit source]
....and please welcome, the new template~! simply type {{Welcome}} and this is what you'll get:
Welcome to the Order, D. Cello/Archive1! |
Welcome to the Assassin's Creed Wiki!
We hope you enjoy your stay, and we look forward to working with you! |
| Have you something to say? |
|
We seek unity, stability and order. |
|
| We wish you safety and peace on your future endeavors. Happy Editing! |
so, what say you? =D - SilverSummonerTaLk 02:55, December 2, 2009 (UTC)
- Edit: oh and I also want to propose one thing: I suggest we turn off the wiki bot thingy that will automatically greet new users, and to do the welcoming manually (by placing the welcome template, that is~) That way, us editors will have more reasons to talk to each other XD - SilverSummonerTaLk 02:58, December 2, 2009 (UTC)
Very nice, way better than that lame one liner. Now, it's... cozy. xD
Great, let's deactivate the bot, less work, what could happen?? T.T
Since I didn't become admin to sit and do nothing, let's socialize! =D How we deactivate that thing, and how we get notified whenever a new user registers? (I'm completely assuming you know how to do it, Summy) Ah, just one more question: the message would be the same that crazy AI send, but the difference would be that *we* would be typing it? -- D. Cello 03:27, December 2, 2009 (UTC)
- well... *ahem* you can call me Silver. In fact, please call me silver. XD
- In fact, I do not know how to deactivate that bot. I usually mess around with categories and templates and links so I'm not sure... bout new users, you can view the list of the new users in the Special:Logs/newusers. It's visible in the recent changes under "user creation log". so don't worry bout that~ ^^
- I dont really understand bout your last question O.o but.. yeah, if the bot is turned off, then we should type the welcome template thingy to new users manually. Just simply type {{Welcome}} and then sign it with four tildes will do ^^ - SilverSummonerTaLk 03:46, December 2, 2009 (UTC)
- Edit: to disable the bot, go to MediaWiki:Welcome-user and replace the content with @disabled. I can't disable it since I'm not an admin XD - SilverSummonerTaLk 03:54, December 2, 2009 (UTC)
Okay, Summy, I'll call you Silver.
If I disable the bot, the only difference would be me having to type the thing personally, while the AI already does that for me. I'm not seeing a advantage here. -- D. Cello 04:07, December 2, 2009 (UTC)
- You can type the message personally. That is exactly the advantage. That alone can strengthen the bond between us editors~ ^^ And close community will make great wiki, no? That is what's happening in my previous wikis though~ ^^ - SilverSummonerTaLk 13:54, December 2, 2009 (UTC)
You're starting to sound like a Jedi... ^^ -- D. Cello 00:45, December 3, 2009 (UTC)
- LOL well.. I don't watch Star Wars so I have no idea =P So, it's yay or nay? - SilverSummonerTaLk 01:21, December 3, 2009 (UTC)
Not sure, I'm considering doing both, I won't be able to check the new user pages every 5 minutes... -- D. Cello 01:46, December 3, 2009 (UTC)
- Eh.. who says you must check every 5 minutes? I mean, other users can welcome new users as well, so it's not only you who'll be doing that, you know? @.@ you don't have to be an admin to welcome users XD - SilverSummonerTaLk 01:57, December 3, 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, but what kind of admin would I be? It's like throwing a party and leaving for the movies, ain't the kind of thing you would tell your friends about.
Though it would be nice for people to greet each other, but we'ould need to warn them about that.. -- D. Cello 02:27, December 3, 2009 (UTC)
- What do you mean what kind of admin? @.@ - SilverSummonerTaLk 02:34, December 3, 2009 (UTC)

Ezio's baby moma[edit source]
maybe someone can help me with this one, cuz i would really like to know who everyone thinks ezio is going to have a child with
Everybody thinks Rosa--Shadows473 03:48, December 3, 2009 (UTC)
But what about that lady you save in Forlì who Desmond thinks looks like Maria? Though that sort of brings reincarnation into the picture, which is a whole other area... Nevertheless, that's who my thoughts lie with. --Aftyn 05:42, December 3, 2009 (UTC)
Ahh, what? Ignore that. I got a couple names mixed up. Also situations... I'm not sure what my head was doing. The above opinion is totally invalid, haha. I guess my new opinion is probably Rosa as well, though it could be someone from those currently corrupted memories. --Aftyn 09:50, December 5, 2009 (UTC)
I was under the immpression that the flashback level in the second game when you arent in the animus, when you meet that woman and well u know what, again i thought that was the birth of Ezio's family.Spoonodeath 17:57, February 13, 2010 (UTC)
That was the conception of Altair's son, not Ezio's child. We don't know anything about Ezio's kid yet. I don't think we will until the next Assassin's Creed game (Not 3, but the one that's supposed to be out before this business year is done with) AgentValentine 22:14, February 13, 2010 (UTC)
No i mean like the Birth of Dominico Auditore's grandpa or however he is related to Altiar. Spoonodeath 23:04, February 15, 2010 (UTC)
About the dlc[edit source]
How much do you think the dlc will be?--Shadows473 03:48, December 3, 2009 (UTC)
- Can't be sure, but I would guess from 4.99 to 9.99 depending on content. It's the average price. When it's announced, we'll update it. -- D. Cello 12:46, December 3, 2009 (UTC)
regarding the welcome thing[edit source]
so what say you? yay or nay? :D - SilverSummonerTaLk 13:15, December 3, 2009 (UTC)
Yay, sweetheart. yay. -- D. Cello 13:23, December 3, 2009 (UTC)
Yay~! :D then please @disabled thingy in the MediaWiki:Welcome-user thing... that is, if you don't mind~ :D - SilverSummonerTaLk 14:24, December 3, 2009 (UTC)
Disabled, Silver. Knock yourself out. -- D. Cello 19:27, December 4, 2009 (UTC)

ACII Walkthrough[edit source]
Hey man, I think we really need to pound out/get the walkthrough finished for Assassin's Creed II as quick as possible. I was wondering somehow though, how come in each DNA Sequence we don't have the "Missions" names. For example, I'm looking at [this source] and wondering how come we aren't doing something similar. Get back to me asap. Thanks. - Wagnike2 22:17, December 3, 2009 (UTC)
- Alright, that's cool that you can't help write it. I'll try to get as much done on it as possible tomorrow. - Wagnike2 01:28, December 4, 2009 (UTC)
My plan was to start working on the walkthrough after finals, which are next week. Gotta study. D: I'm definitely good for it if you don't get much done because I'd really enjoy working on it. I just can't start it right now. --Aftyn 07:32, December 4, 2009 (UTC)
- Got the walkthrough done. I'm sure it could use improvement in a few spots. But, it's done for now. - Wagnike2 20:34, December 4, 2009 (UTC)
That was fast... great, we'll improve it over time. ;D -- D. Cello 20:52, December 4, 2009 (UTC)
Ah, thanks! Though yeah, speedy Wagnike2 here got it finished already. (: But I wrote up the first mission of the first sequence just to show my thoughts in the direction I planned on going. It's on my sandbox page: http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/User:Aftyn/sandbox Links where appropriate, of course, but I didn't add any since it's just the sandbox. Were I writing up the whole thing, it would be explained, just in case, at the top of the page that in the >>Mission Title<< section, italic text is the cutscene description, regular is more directions to the player (hence the presence of "you"). But I wasn't sure if so many spoilers (which would appear, of course, were all cutscenes laid out in such a fashion) were acceptable for what this guide is all about. What're your thoughts? (:
It seems alright. Since it's a walktrough, there will be spoilers (so they're completely allowed), but I'm gonna put a warning about them on top later, don't worry about it. Just keep in mind while writing to try and not stretch the text with unnecessary details, it polutes the page and makes it boring-hard to read. ;] -- D. Cello 19:03, December 5, 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, obnoxious to read and equally as obnoxious to write. I'll definitely be keeping that in mind. (: Also I'm really sorry about the stub page thing. What I clicked on said something to the effect of editing the template for /that page/. Or at least that's how I interpreted it. ): --Aftyn 00:59, December 7, 2009 (UTC)
No problem, nothing that couldn't be repaired. ;] -- D. Cello 15:05, December 7, 2009 (UTC)
question[edit source]
Do you think the name "Assassin's Creed Assassination Target" is too long for a category name? =/ any better ideas? - SilverSummonerTaLk 03:53, December 8, 2009 (UTC)
You can just diminish it to AC... I do that when mentioning Lineage or any other game/reference. -- D. Cello 14:03, December 8, 2009 (UTC)
- Nah I can't... =/ that's just kinda "ugly" for a category name... maybe move to "Assassin's Creed Target"? - SilverSummonerTaLk 14:50, December 8, 2009 (UTC)
"Assassin's Creed Targets" works too. -- D. Cello 15:00, December 8, 2009 (UTC)
I have another question, if we want to place a big spoiler alert on a subject how would we do that?Spoonodeath 04:20, February 13, 2010 (UTC)
- Insert {{Spoilerhd}} on the top of that article. -- D. Cello 04:24, February 13, 2010 (UTC)
kk thnks and how to make a userbox? srry for all the questions im a newbie at this...Spoonodeath 04:27, February 13, 2010 (UTC)

Re: FA and GA[edit source]
Hey man, I'm pretty well done editing for the night. But I promise you that I will look into it the first thing tomorrow and get back to you ASAP. - Wagnike2 23:55, December 8, 2009 (UTC)
- So I was trying to figure it out today, I see how it works on Wookiepedia. I just can't really figure out how to get it working here/ I'm not that great with the coding. You might want to ask Joe about it. He has been doing this a lot longer than I do/ knows code a lot better. Sorry, that I couldn't be more helpful. - Wagnike2 17:45, December 9, 2009 (UTC)
Great, Nic. Thanks for trying. ;D Already contacted him, I'll let you know when he replies. -- D. Cello 18:11, December 9, 2009 (UTC)
- By any chance, do you mean something like this? --> [1] - SilverSummonerTaLk 01:20, December 10, 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, something like that.. You know how to do it, Silver? -- D. Cello 01:58, December 10, 2009 (UTC)
- Hey! this is the first time you call me Silver! Hurrah!
- This is how they do it though:
- <div Style="position:absolute;z-index:100;right:10px;top:10px">[[File:FAicon.jpg|50px|link=Assassin's Creed Wiki: Featured articles]]</div>
- YOu may want to tamper with the code a little bit~ :D - SilverSummonerTaLk 02:03, December 10, 2009 (UTC)
You asked, sweetheart. =]
Thaks for the code, I'll mess with it a little. -- D. Cello 02:26, December 10, 2009 (UTC)
Summy, you know how modify the code to automatically include the articles to the list page the template is used on? -- D. Cello 22:43, December 10, 2009 (UTC)
You are the admin....[edit source]
...which means you have the ability to ban people. I suggest that when you see a vandal, instead of just reverting his edits, you gotta ban him/her/it. Just a suggestion though. - SilverSummonerTaLk 14:13, December 10, 2009 (UTC)
I'm actually blocking them and it isn't happening again, so I'll leave that way. -- D. Cello 14:15, December 10, 2009 (UTC)
- Ah I see... I didn't see the block log earlier. But why 3 days? They should've been banned for a year >:D *evil laugh* mwahahahahaha....! okae I'm just kidding... - SilverSummonerTaLk 14:23, December 10, 2009 (UTC)
We have to be fair, Silver. And, you know, give them a chance to prove they're not complete morons. Tha kind of things. -- D. Cello 14:29, December 10, 2009 (UTC)
But the fact that they've vandalized the articles which our editors wrote after googling for hours have proved that they're complete morons... Well... fair enough, I guess. Everyone deserves second chance~ - SilverSummonerTaLk 14:51, December 10, 2009 (UTC)
Attagirl. =] -- D. Cello 14:56, December 10, 2009 (UTC)
Also you can't actually ban people from a wiki. Closest thing is blocking them for like a thousand years or something of the like. Personally I don't think something like that is ever necessary. A good medium sized block tends to get the point across well enough. Piratehunter (Talk•Contribs•Logs) 06:33, December 15, 2009 (UTC)
Confused[edit source]
What is the importance of the "Assassins" Symbols you are putting on alot of the pages?
- If you click on them, you be taken to a page which explains it in details, but I'll save you the work. ;D
- The Silver ones denote Good articles, articles that have a good text, formating and number/quality of pictures.
- The Gold ones (which there are none yet), denote Featured Articles, articles that represent the best quality and level of this wiki. They usually have a lot of good pictures , are well-writen, filled with crucial information and without unnecessary details, and impecabble formatting. Get it? -- D. Cello 23:31, December 10, 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, i got it now. Good idea too. J.h.jaraub 23:34, December 10, 2009 (UTC)
Missing pages[edit source]
What's with all the missing pages? Articles on the four types of guards other than Brutes, several secret locations, a few important people, missions/memories, and places all need articles, but no one is making them. Could u talk to some of the editors and see if they can't get some people to start making articles? EEA 05:27, December 13, 2009 (UTC)
EEA 05:27, December 13, 2009 (UTC)
- It's not just some people, we need reliable sources, people who actually played the game. If you know anything about any of the articles who are "missing", create the page yourself, input the info you know, insert this {{stub}} on the top of the page and we'll make sure it gets improved.
- The wiki is going through a improvement phase, we're creating standards and updating the existing articles to match with that, but the holidays and other year's-end-stuff are making it somewhat difficult.
- You're up to help writing these articles? -- D. Cello 05:58, December 13, 2009 (UTC)
RE: Talkheader[edit source]
Thanks. As I'm sure you read, I've got alot in store for this wiki, and oh yes will it ever shine... ;P. Im currently getting ready to give this wiki its own Welcoming Template, just gotta work out a couple of kinks. Check it out when you get the chance. Oh, and I can't help but ask, your pic looks very similar to the Star Forge? Piratehunter (Talk•Contribs•Logs) 06:10, December 15, 2009 (UTC)
Welcome?[edit source]
I've added a new template for use in welcoming new users. check it out and tell me what you think! If you like it, I'll go ahead and replace the current welcoming template with it. I'll post it below. ;D Piratehunter (Talk•Contribs•Logs) 06:27, December 15, 2009 (UTC)
Welcome to Assassin's Creed Wiki![edit source]

D. Cello/Archive1, welcome!
Hello and let me be the first to welcome you to Assassin's Creed Wiki, the fan-based Assassin's Creed resource. I hope you like the place and choose to join us in our work. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

unregistered users[edit source]
Hi i'm new here, but i took a lot of time to find out tons of information regarding the Pieces of Eden, their locations, possibly what it is that lies there, i don't mind it when someone gives me a spellcheck or friendly advice, but what i can't stand is when someone who knows nothing decides to edit in their own information that has no basis on evidence. For example, an unregistered user keeps editing the Location of the Artifacts list to read that there is a piece located in Rio de Janiro, when clearly on the Codex map, there is no such piece near Rio coinciding with any other real world map. Also this same user thought all my information on what could be there was tedious and decided to delete it. What i'm saying you should do as the administrator is make it so that people Have to register before they can edit this wiki. It's the same for the Marvel Comics Wiki, and makes it so other users can see who edited what and can point out to others why that is so if they have a disagreement about it.(Kakazu21 02:52, December 17, 2009 (UTC))
- I've seen quite a activity over there, but as it wasn't vandalism, I've let it be. This wiki is not as big as Marvel, and many grammar and minor fixes are made by unregistered users, probable readers who take their time to correct something. What I'm saying you should do as a user is contact that specific contributor on his IP talk-page and try to friendly settle this. If that doesn't work, I'll protect the page, but about blocking the whole wiki to registered, let we first achieve a better status and then I'll think about it.
- I'm here if you need it. Good luck with your dispute. -- D. Cello 03:59, December 17, 2009 (UTC)
Star Wars[edit source]
Hey, i'll tell you i'm the biggest star wars you'll ever meet. lol. exect maybe if you meet Lucas. lol Piratehunter (Talk•Contribs•Logs) 23:27, December 17, 2009 (UTC)
- By the previous picture I would say you're a Mandielover, right? XD -- D. Cello 23:30, December 17, 2009 (UTC)
- Yep. lol. And as you may can tell from my sig i'm a sith lord all the way, (that is unless you include my fanon, wich revolutionizes the Force). I'm a 21 year old english teacher and QM student, with about enough fanon to make 3-4 movies to come after return of the jedi. I'll have to tell ya bout it sometime. Its awesome, you'll love it, and its extremely well put together. lol Piratehunter (Talk•Contribs•Logs) 00:01, December 18, 2009 (UTC)
- If it's better than Karis Traviss, then it must be good. =P -- D. Cello 00:05, December 18, 2009 (UTC)
Oh, my friend, it is very good. I've give ya a few details. It revolves solely around one man, Cassus Cyrellias. After the fall of the Galactic Empire, he basically over the course of many decades, amasses a massive military force that he solely commands. In the process, discovering the "True Force", which, to put it briefly is neither light or dark, but in a matter of speaking, grey. He discovers that, to remain in between, one can amass power beyond imagining, near endless power, more so than the jedi or sith could ever achieve due to them each being on the end of the balance. He's declared Mandalore later on, and replaces his entire armada with them. And... Kreia isn't dead. The major conflict in the story is between Cassus and Kreia, Because she tried to manipulate him the same way she manipulated the Jedi Exile. And his ship, hah, I wish i good take my mental picture of out and put it on paper exactly. Its great. Piratehunter(Talk•Contribs•Logs) 00:28, December 18, 2009 (UTC)
Re: Improv Team[edit source]
Hey man, I think the concept of an improv team sounds like a great idea. I don't know what exactly I am suppose to be answering or what I'm suppose to be helping with... but, just let me know and I'll help you out as I can. I might suggest just creating a topic in the forum to work on this. Keep an ongoing conversation about what articles are being improved. - 99.178.226.104 01:47, December 23, 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry to ask, but... Who are you?? oO -- D. Cello 01:48, December 23, 2009 (UTC)
- Yea, It's me Wagnike2. I wasn't logged in for whatever reason and I just realized it. I was using a different computer and then that came up. Sorry about that. - Wagnike2 01:54, December 23, 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, that kind of freaked me out... XD
All right then, I'll start pulling them together. =D -- D. Cello 01:57, December 23, 2009 (UTC)
- Right on, cool beans. Good luck man! - Wagnike2 02:19, December 23, 2009 (UTC)
- Hi there. I got your message about the improv team; I'd be happy to join up and give this wiki a hand. User:Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 16:52, December 23, 2009 (UTC)
- I have to say that I really like what you are doing with the ImprovTeam concept. It's really cool. As far as using the Wikia Gaming IRC, it's really easy. It's open 24/7.. and all you have to do is click on the Wikia Gaming IRC button under the Help Pages and then just sign in with your username. Well really you can use any name you want, but to keep it more organized for your purposes user names would be the best way to go about it. Also, another trivial thing that I think might make a difference is creating some kind of graphic/image that the ImprovTeam members can display on their user pages, so people know about them and kind of to boast a bit. This might motivate your team some more. Maybe create an Istruttori logo? Just an idea I had. - Wagnike2 17:37, December 24, 2009 (UTC)
Thanks, Nic. ;D
I've created along with the group the following template-header (what so far is the best I know how-to regarding tags =P) for display on their pages:
I trust it was something like that you're talking about? -- D. Cello 18:03, December 24, 2009 (UTC)
- Yep, pretty much exactly what I was thinking about. Good job. - 99.178.226.104 20:02, December 24, 2009 (UTC)
- That was me again, I don't know why I've been having log-in issues lately. - Wagnike2 20:04, December 24, 2009 (UTC)
- I tried looking into the forum issue and I can't find any topic that is missing. It must've been some weird problem with the Wikia cache where it didn't show him adding the topic. It's happened to me a few times and I realize that it's super annoying, but he is probably just best off recreating the topic. - 15:34, December 25, 2009 (UTC)
- Ah, I was just about to ask someone about your forum issues when I noticed that you fixed it. Good job! How'd you go about doing it, if I may ask? I'm always curious to find out more about Wikia. - Wagnike2 18:04, December 28, 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, I just added {{Forumheader|Istruttorium}} and [[Category:istruttorium]] at the top and bottom of each page XD -- D. Cello 18:20, December 28, 2009 (UTC)
- I think that giving them rollback rights is a nice little motivation to give to them. Go ahead. - Wagnike2 16:25, January 8, 2010 (UTC)
Plot[edit source]
Okay then. You want me to delete the articles that have them too? Still, you don't have anything that explains the overall plot of the Assassin's Creed Universe. Master Sima Yi 20:38, December 24, 2009 (UTC)
- No need. I've already unmade the category changes you've done.
- Everything* that happens anywhere is related to Assassin's plot. You would have to add all articles to that category. We have articles with AC1, AC2, AC:Chronicles, AC:Lineage and AC:Bloodlines stories already. We've had quite a few problems with category adding in the past, so I really have to be strict with this, sorry. -- D. Cello 20:51, December 24, 2009 (UTC)
Site Notice[edit source]
You can simply use the MediaWiki:SiteNotice (or maybe site-notice or siteNotice) to put the announcement instead ^^ Oh I'm back btw~! :D merry Christmas, cap'n! - SilverSummonerTaLk 16:14, December 26, 2009 (UTC)
- Welcome back, Commander. How was your holiday? -- D. Cello 16:31, December 26, 2009 (UTC)
- I think I have tanned skin now... it'll be normal again in 2 weeks or so I think. :D So, did I miss anything, cap'n? - SilverSummonerTaLk 16:33, December 26, 2009 (UTC)
- Well, you missed me by 2 weeks, sweetheart. XD
- The Animus is the first FA! And Altaïr's is bound to be the second.
- Also, we now have a group of users tasked with monitoring and maintaining quality of GA and FA's. And that's pretty much it, I think. -- D. Cello 16:54, December 26, 2009 (UTC)
- That's right. Been missing you too, cap'n~! XD
- I just saw the FA. Woo-hoo~! :D and Istruttori sounds cool... O.o with this team along, hopefully all that crappy articles will be revamped soon XD
- Ah I should go back to the categorizing stuff.. XD - SilverSummonerTaLk 17:02, December 26, 2009 (UTC)
Animus changes[edit source]
- Hi there D. Cello. I noticed that you reverted my edit of the article Animus on the grounds that, as a featured article, it should not be edited, only improved… personally, I was under the impression that that was what I was doing, and I do believe I made the article better for it. So really, my question is, why did you revert the edit? I joined you Istruttori group to edit an improve articles, but having the edits reverted kinda defeats the point, don't you think? User:Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 13:34, December 28, 2009 (UTC)
- I reverted cause your changes were made over other people edits that disfigured the article. We had a previous setup, with pictures and a formatting. 1 week later, bang! More pictures, bad formatting, a small article with a lot of misplaced pictures. Your edits really improved, don't get me wrong, but the article was totally different from the one that became a featured in the first place. Now, with the istruttori, instead of me reverting all the changes, you can go back and edit it or demote his status completely if you're working on it. That page is now protected, which means only proved registered users can edit it, so no more anonymous changes. If you don't mind, work on it again. I'll not revert all your edits this time.
- But it's a featured article, if you're gonna "work on it" on long-term, maybe you could use a sandbox.
- The deal wasn't with your changes, Jasca. Don't worry. ;D -- D. Cello 14:53, December 28, 2009 (UTC)
Delete[edit source]
Why? Because those characters do not appear/are mentioned in the Assassin's Creed games, and the characters don't link to the plot of the game universe. Master Sima Yi 18:14, December 29, 2009 (UTC)
- Okay, kid. That's a good reason. -- D. Cello 19:28, December 29, 2009 (UTC)
AC2 Page: Wrong Times[edit source]
On the AC2 Game page it says it takes place in Late 15th Century and Early 16th which is wrong as it starts at 1476 and ends 1459 or 1500 I didn't change it because I couldn't find the Edit Page button Because its locked that page I think
