French Revolution article: dating format[edit source]
Hello CaptCM54, I noticed your recent edits to the French Revolution article, and while I appreciate your hard work correcting a lot of syntax and grammar errors in it, I should remind you that here at Assassin's Creed Wiki, we use the European dating format, not the American one. This means that dates should be written in the [day]-[month]-[year] format as they were throughout the article before you changed them to the [month]-[day]-[year] format. In the future, please adhere to our dating format and read or review our manual of style. To be fairly honest, if an article is formatted a particular way, it is always better to not presume that it is in error but first double-check if it is in fact in accordance with the style of our wiki.
Aside from this, please also remember to do the best you can to merge your edits of an article to at most a few, preferably only one, edit, and not nine consecutive edits. This is sometimes frowned upon as spam or badge-hunting although I am confident neither were your intention. You may have found it hard to navigate the entire page all at once and felt more at ease breaking up your work into several edits to save your progress. I feel that a lot too, but even in such cases, we recommend no more than three edits on an article per day unless each of them are truly major revisions and expansions of entire sections. Thank you for your understanding, and welcome to the wiki! Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 02:22, July 23, 2019 (UTC)
