Dynasty edits[edit source]

Hello Andy,
I see that you've edited the Mawei Station mutiny page a dozen times within the three hours since you created it. While your additions are welcome, for future reference, it is generally considered good practice to have as complete an edit in one session as possible to prevent chain edits from clogging the Recent Activity feed. Further, all information must be properly referenced according to the Sourcing section of the linked policies above. As of my writing, the mutiny page did not have that, making it unclear to casual readers whether the details came from Dynasty's promotional material, Wikipedia, or the latest issues, although it has since been fixed.

Finally, I notice you've also uploaded two images from Dynasty. Please note that you need to source any and all images you upload to the wiki in accordance to our image policy. For more information on how to source images, check this page. Also check the information about naming images appropriately. Badly named or unsourced images will be deleted. Feel free to reupload your deleted image with proper sourcing. Thank you. . – Darman (talk) 06:45, 12 June 2022 (UTC)

AC Visionaries images[edit source]

I see you've recently added a number of images from the AC Visionaries project. While beneficial to the wiki, I'd like to remind you: Please note that you need to source any and all images you upload to the wiki in accordance to our image policy. For more information on how to source images, check this page. Also check the information about naming images appropriately. Badly named or unsourced images will be deleted. Feel free to reupload your deleted image with proper sourcing. Thank you. – Darman (talk) 14:35, 19 April 2023 (UTC)

File uploads[edit source]

Hello Andy, we've noticed that you have uploaded some images without giving them proper names and without sourcing them. Files you upload to the wiki should have titles that make it clear what they are about. The common standard favoured by our editors is to start the file name with an abbreviation of the work (e.g. "ACD" for Assassin's Creed: Dynasty and "ACJ" for Assassin's Creed: Codename Jade). To see some examples, our moderator, Soranin, just yesterday renamed four of your file uploads yesterday to:

  • File:ACJ Great Wall Concept art 04.jpg
  • File:ACJ Great Wall Concept art 05.jpg
  • File:ACJ Great Wall Concept art 06.jpg
  • File:ACJ Great Wall Concept art 07.jpg

As well, if you check those file pages, you will notice she has gone ahead and properly sourced them for you. Files that are unsourced are actually liable for deletion even if they're otherwise a good image. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions or confusion about this!
