Mass edits[edit source]
Hello Altair 0147,
While I'm sure the community appreciates your Rope dart and Hidden Blade page edits, you edited many sections of the same page within minutes of each other, and all the changes were so minimal in nature they should have been marked "Minor edit" (there's a check-box beside the "Edit Summary" box). Instead of constantly editing, might I suggest (1) doing one "group edit", in which you add/remove the details of interest all at once; and (2) using the "Preview" option, which allows you to see what the final page will look like so you can ensure you've edited all the parts that you want to change. Just a thought. -- Darman (talk) 04:21, April 28, 2018 (UTC)
Grammatical reversions at "Hidden Blade"[edit source]
Hello Altaïr, I just would like to explain my reversions to your recent series of edits to the article Hidden Blade since I used the rollback function which does not allow me to explain in an edit summary. It seems that you were correcting for grammar, but by and large, your fixes were not actually correct. For instance, you cannot separate conjunctive adverbs such as "nevertheless" or "when in 2013" with semi-colons, and neither can you do this with dependent clauses such as "Upon the request of Francesco Vecellio". Semi-colons may grammatically only be used to separate independent clauses—clauses that could stand alone as their own sentence if the writer so wishes—in a single sentence or when there are subdivisions to lists.
Furthermore, the use of the present tense in the sentences which you changed to the past tense was originally correct because the Hidden Blade still exists in the current timeline of Assassin's Creed and those details are still valid to it even from an in-universe perspective.
