The Timeline[edit source]

From what I could tell, there are some run-on sentences and I think I have to revise some content, if I change it too much be sure correct it. PassiveNeoluna 23:15, April 25, 2010 (UTC)

  • Thanks for the edit of the Article. Looks much better! - Altaïr 01:47, April 26, 2010 (UTC)

No prob, drop a note in my talk page if I can help with anything else okay? PassiveNeoluna 23:50, April 25, 2010 (UTC)

  • Will do, thx again. - Altaïr 02:01, April 26, 2010 (UTC)

I didn't do anything too big, I just corrected the spelling of Garnier de Naplouse. PassiveNeoluna 22:23, June 1, 2010 (UTC)

Al, can you meet me on the IRC? -- D. Cello 23:08, May 28, 2010 (UTC)

Master Assassin[edit source]

Vacation & Wedding[edit source]

Well I'm just letting you know now that I'll be in Scotland for a month (exactly from 5th of June - 15th of July), so I won't have access to my computer that keeps me updated, but I will have a very rare access to a computer. Cause I have to make further planning on my wedding in September -- -- Altaïr 11:29, May 20, 2010 (UTC)

Al, to let you know: Sima's one of us now. ;D -- D. Cello 16:24, June 2, 2010 (UTC)

Al, you work with photoshop, right? -- D. Cello 20:53, June 12, 2010 (UTC)

Not to be too nosy, but I think he's still gone in his trip. But I think he does a lot of work with photoshop with all of his work in deviantart. a Lunatic 21:09, June 12, 2010 (UTC)

Ah, crap. I forgot about the trip. Thanks, Neoluna. ;D -- D. Cello 21:13, June 12, 2010 (UTC)
I'm still in Scotland, but I heard from Anna you needed some help with photoshop, so tell me what it is. Maybe I can help. But it could take a while, cause I'm not on the computer often. Mostly I just check my things and turn it off. ButI'll see what I can do, but I can't promise anything. -- Altaïr 13:43, June 22, 2010 (UTC)
~Thanks for answering, Al. You know some of the characters database pictures, that have more than one people in the picture i.e. The Pazzi Conspirators? I would like you to create images with each individual character highlited, so we can put it on their respective articles. As if the character was in full color and all the others a little faded. But hey, go enjoy your vacation/marriage/honeymoon (or whatever you're having) ;D -- D. Cello 17:09, June 22, 2010 (UTC)
I uploaded the pictures requested. I added some light and contrast with the people in question. The background was darkened and saturated so they surely stand out from the rest. Hope it's good enough. Was more difficult to do as I'm not very used to work with a pad instead of a mouse as I only have a laptop to my disposal. -- Altaïr 16:43, June 24, 2010 (UTC)
Congrats on the marriage, Al! Best of luck for both of ya! ;D -- D. Cello 18:37, July 14, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks, Marcello. now just looking forward to the honeymoon in Italy to walk in Ezio's footsteps lol -- Altaïr 22:04, July 14, 2010 (UTC)

This is Neoluna sir and I give my extended congratulations with you and Victoria. ^_^ 96.55.128.217 20:13, July 14, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks from both of us, Anna. Take care xxx -- Altaïr 22:04, July 14, 2010 (UTC)

Knights Templar[edit source]

Uhm...Hello there, sir. I would just like to report that the Templars page was vandalized by some anons, and the rollbacks I've been conducting are messing it up even further. Forgive me for not knowing how to use the rollback effectively. Perhaps you can revert the page back to its former status? War Clown 14:00, July 15, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah it's a complete mess, but that's not your fault. I appreciate your help. I think because we were trying to fix it at the same time it became confusing, so it's partially also my fault. The biggest problem is that there are so many edits that the wiki doesn't remember what it originally was I think, but I'll check out what the best edit is we can get. Altaïr 16:05, July 15, 2010 (UTC)
  • Alright then, thanks :D War Clown 14:15, July 15, 2010 (UTC)
Right I was able to fix this. But I think we need to talk about a database of all latest files on our computer, so that we just have to delete/paste it from our files on the computer, in case correcting vandalism becomes to difficult.Altaïr 16:20, July 15, 2010 (UTC)
  • You're saying we should keep a backup of the articles in a document? Sounds good to me. I'll keep the source code of the article for some of the longer ones. War Clown 14:27, July 15, 2010 (UTC)
Yes if we actually do this, then we copy everything. best thing to do is edit the latest revision and then copy everything from it to paste it in a word file. If we are going to do this , then we should spreaed it out among the admins and mods. Spread it out over categories or even games. I do ACI, you do ACII, Cello does brotherhood... just to give an example. -- Altaïr 16:39, July 15, 2010 (UTC)
  • So, we're gonna tell D and the others about this new idea? War Clown 14:49, July 15, 2010 (UTC)
Yeah I think it's going to be a big task, but it may be necessary to keep the Wiki totally safe at all costs from vandalism.-- Altaïr 16:55, July 15, 2010 (UTC)
Alright then, I'll go tell D about this. War Clown 14:59, July 15, 2010 (UTC)
Alright, I told D of the idea. I'll check on his reply soon. War Clown 15:10, July 15, 2010 (UTC)

Unnecessary. The wiki keeps backups of all edits ever made to any page. If you see a huge vandalism section with multiple users vandals, just go to the history page, choose a version without vandalizing, click the edit page and save without adding anything. It will overwrite ALL edits made since them with the one from the past ;D -- D. Cello 17:27, July 15, 2010 (UTC)

I know about that. But I often checked that if so many edits are made to vandalize it, in the end it won't remember what the the actual version was. I think there's a limit of revisions it will remember, meaning if someone makes so many edits after each other, we might not be able to retreve the proper version. -- Altaïr 20:51, July 15, 2010 (UTC)

Err... no, it doesn't. It has revisions from 2007 stored. Just browse through the version until you find the one that wasn't vandalized. It not so hard, Al, really. -- D. Cello 19:36, July 15, 2010 (UTC)

Yes it stores them, and how do you think I repaired the knights Templar page if I didn't know? lol. Anyway it stores them, but they don't show comparissons between old revisions, it only shows them between recent revisions, meaning you could be stuck guessing what is the right revision, which is what I did. Luckily you made a not that late revision on it, so I chose yours. -- Altaïr 22:00, July 15, 2010 (UTC)

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood[edit source]

Hello there. I'm new to this Wiki, and I want to know if you're getting Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. If you are, and you've got PS3 Live, make sure to add me! My Tag is nlav, and I'll be happy to aid you in Multiplayer. -- Animus 1.28 20:32, July 25, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah I'm getting the Codex edition, though I'm not sure if I'll be playing it a lot online yet, I'm mostly getting it for the singleplayer. -- Altaïr 22:33, July 25, 2010 (UTC)
That's cool. Singleplayer is still greater than ever. But if you decide to start with Multiplayer, I can tell you that it's an epic win on the Wanted Mode. I'm gonna pre-order it, I get some cool Multiplayer characters for pre-order. Animus 1.28 20:42, July 25, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks![edit source]

Thanks for fixing the mass amount of typos (and most were typos!) on the Spanish Inquisition page. :D Thief talk Wiki Policy! 05:45, July 26, 2010 (UTC)

Invitation to Project Determination[edit source]

Hi! I'm currently asking around to see if anyone is interested in helping out on the Assassin's Creed Wiki's newest WikiProject, Project Determination! The Project is mostly collecting and noting the numbers that run the AC games, such as the number of health squares that it takes to wear out a piece of armor. If you like this kind of thing, or would like to contribute, come by and check it out! -Ulyenov Project Determination 21:40, July 27, 2010 (UTC)

Well not to be arrogant, but I am an admin, and I'd like to help as much as I can. I'm not the best in writing articles though but if I say so myself I'm not bad when it comes to improving them. Altaïr 24:10, July 28, 2010 (UTC)
Thanks. ^^ Most of the stuff that'll be added to the Project page won't fit into any current articles, though eventually I might try creating a new "Game Formulas" article or something similar to collate everything. -Ulyenov Project Determination 22:15, July 27, 2010 (UTC)
Definitely sounds interesting. Glad members are coming up with good ideas to improve the wiki! -- Altaïr 24:15, July 28, 2010 (UTC)
Thanks again. You have any ideas you want to test out? I've got ACII up and running on my 360 at the moment and nothing important to do for the rest of the night, I could run some tests if you want. :D -Ulyenov Project Determination 22:19, July 27, 2010 (UTC)
Screencaptures if possible. Captures of high quality of Ezio's romantic life. -- Altaïr 24:26, July 28, 2010 (UTC)
I was thinking something more along the lines of testing something to do with the Project... Statistics and the numbers behind-the-screen, not pics of Ezio and his lovers doing the horizontal boogie. >_> Meh, it wouldn't be possible anyway because I have an old and really teeny TV. Anything other than that? -Ulyenov Project Determination 22:31, July 27, 2010 (UTC)
Maximum amount of paintings you can buy, how much they cost or would cost in total. Maximum amount of renovations and again how much it would cost in total. Things like that maybe.-- Altaïr 01:02, July 28, 2010 (UTC)
You can buy up to 30 paintings and upgrade Monteriggioni via the Architect (in other words, repair Monteriggioni buildings themselves) up to 21 times, with 3 upgrades apiece for each of the four shops plus the bank and one upgrade apiece to repair/reopen the Brothel, Mines, Church, Barracks, Thieves' Guild, and Well. Unfortunately, I've completed my current ACII playthrough to 100% completion, and none of the prices are displayed once you buy the items, but I should be able to get data on total cost within a day or two for the upgrades. According to the Art Merchant page the total cost of all paintings is 72000 Florins, though I'm not sure if that takes into consideration the Monteriggioni art merchant discounts given for investing money in refurbishing the art shop. -Ulyenov Project Determination 23:22, July 27, 2010 (UTC)

Timeline[edit source]

Hey Cedric, I just was curious why you removed the birthdates of the people assassinated by the assassins in the Sanctuary on the Timeline page. I worked for a few hours on perfecting that. Thanks BruteWithASpear 22:49, July 27, 2010 (UTC)

Me and D.Cello were discussing what would be really relevant on the page. What is more important for characters we don't see, yet we know were assassinated is when they were assassinated. Also concerning Leonardo Da Vinci, it is not relevant that we know when he started to paint the mona lisa and things like that. It doesn't have any appearance or isn't even mentionned in ACII anyway. Remember the length of the list is not important, but its content is.Altaïr -- 24:51, July 28,2010 (UTC)
I understand, thanks for your input. BruteWithASpear 23:29, July 27, 2010 (UTC)

Cinematic trailers[edit source]

Hi there. I must inform you, I am not mistaking these cinematics for anything but what they are. I agree with your view in that, it would be stupid to show what will happen in a cinematic before a game is released, but we cannot deny the fact that not only have these trailers been created and published by Ubisoft, but that in doing so, Ubisoft has made these canon; it won't be until the release of Brotherhood, which may or may not contradict the trailer, that we can deem them non-canon. So until that happens, it's this sites duty to maintain the information. Also, I've noticed that you're trying to suggest that the gameplay trailer is different to the cinematic, but at the basic level I do not see how. Plenty of games have had gameplay trailers released, which differed from the end product, nullifying what could previously be considered to have canonically occured. It is exactly the same for the cinematic.

All I can say is, unless you can provide me some shred of a source denying these trailers canonicity, the information is going to remain in the articles. Thank you. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 00:49, August 2, 2010 (UTC)

First of all (to both of you), these first cinematics trailers are called "Teaser Trailers". And everybody knows what a teaser is. If you remember AC1 intro, Altaïr killed a guy in Acre and had crossbow. Now, we kill a guy in Acre, but it isn't the trailer guy or place. The church in front of where he is killed exists ingame, but the plaza and stand does not. And you know.. that crossbow? Don't exist either. So you telling me that that trailer is canon? Well, it is not.
ACII trailer was similar. Venezia, Carnivale, Hidden Gun, assassination. Those trailers take *elements* of what we will have in-game, but doesn't depict the exact happening we will experience. So my guess is they will keep the trailer in game for what it is, a presentation media, as they did with both before.
I don't know what the article you guys are discussing is, but Al has a point. If it's a real world article, keep it. If it is a ingame article, whatever it is, remove the info from it. -- D. Cello 01:05, August 2, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for your input, D.Cello. What we were and Jasca were discussing is the content of the cinematic trailer being placed in Ezio's profile and of Cesare's. in the end the proof that they're canon is against these trailers. Also what I meant with gameplay trailers differ because how they are played out, but the animation in between will very likely still be the same, depending on what genre of game you're playing. Just think. That animation of Ezio sleeping with Caterina Sforza or the parade in the cinematic trailer? You almost have a complete guarantee that the first animation I mentionned will be in the game, but the animation in the cinematic trailer is showing something that 'might' happen in the game, but only in a similar way. There's bound to be differences. Altaïr 5:26, August 2, 2010 (UTC)

Sure. We can say that in 1503, during a Pope's parade, Ezio met Cesare with a group of his assassins. But to describe the events in detail would be foolish. -- D. Cello 04:13, August 2, 2010 (UTC)
No, you can't just pick and choose canon. You can't decide to say that Ezio met Cesare with a group of assassins in 1503, as per the trailer, but decide that everything else in that source is non-canon, and subsequently ignore it. You've mentioned the AC trailer which involved Al holding a crossbow. At no point in the game does it say Al never used a crossbow, and he did live for about twenty-five years before the game took place. That's a sizeable amount of time for him to travel to Acre, and kill somebody with a crossbow, and it not be a part of the games story. Just because he then killed somebody in Acre again, without a crossbow, does not make the trailer anyless canon. We simply have to recognise that he killed somebody in Acre, before the game's setting. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 12:04, August 2, 2010 (UTC)

hey almost thought the ac brotherhood assassins were going to be actual character that would be named but i found out a few months ago but i was inferior back then with zero pointsT-700 05:56, August 2, 2010 (UTC)

If we really want to put information on these events shown it's maybe best to put it in the trivia. Then we can at least add that, whether it actually will happen is unclear at this stage. However that's just like an alternative option for me if you really want this information in. I don't think it's a good idea to put information in at all about cinematic trailers. Like I said they're suppose to awe the people, set the mood. But cinematic trailers are never made with the purpose to reveal what's actually inside the game. And that counts for almost all cinematic trailers out there. Some are used as an introduction like the first one, cause it does not connect to the story at all. But since the carnivale is in ACII and the events are different the cinematic trailer was left out the second one. Now we know that this trailer won't be used in the game and that it does contain material that connects to the story. But are we just going to bet on it that it is canon, when a lot of facts prove against it? -- Altaïr 15:42, August 2, 2010 (UTC)

"Force Unleashed" has similar videos. We saw the guy bring a Destroyer down on Raxus Prime, but the game version wasn't exactly as depicted. Simialr, but not exact. Now you're saying me the guy brought down TWO Star Destroyers, even though we follow the guy's life till his dead? The two previous movies depicted a dramatic version of similar in-game events, and never happened there. So I'm saying: Until Brotherhood's comes out and verify the Teaser Trailer, that info is considered as unclear and therefore, not canon. -- D. Cello 17:26, August 2, 2010 (UTC)

There's many examples. Like you said Force Unleashed. Instead of Raxus Prime as in the game, the star destroyer was brought down above Naboo in the trailer. In the trailer of the second game you see him walking behind Vader going to an arena, while I know that doesn't happen cause Vader is not in his presence at that time. He's with Kota. But take Dragon Age for example. They climb up some mountain to search the ashes of some sacred woman (forgot her name) and above they immediately get attacked by Darkspawn and then later a dragon, possibly the Archdemon arrives. While in the game they do look for these ashes and encounter a dragon, which is not the archdemon, it doesn't happen this way. -- Altaïr 14:40, August 3, 2010 (UTC)

Look at the picture here. It shows the event in-game. Would that mean the event is canon? And what has Star Wars got to do with Assassin's Creed? XD -- Master Sima Yi 13:47, August 3, 2010 (UTC)

I'm sure they are conected in some way =P. but we're talking abot trailers, Phil.
And that picture is a "released picture", doesn't mean the game will be like that. We will only know for sure when the game comes out x.x -- D. Cello 17:34, August 3, 2010 (UTC)

So you're saying that they would put an event in the game for promotional purposes, only to delete it from the final game? You do know that doesn't make any sense, right? -- Master Sima Yi 16:05, August 9, 2010 (UTC)

And yet they do it. ACII had a cinematic trailer set in the carnivale. What happened with it. You had the carnivale, but everything that happened in the trailer had nothing to do with what happened in the game. Like I said many times before, these trailers are only meant to set the mood and to awe the public. They're not for canon content, unless they plan to use these as introductions to the game. But we all know this trailer won't be used as an introduction. -- Altaïr 18:39, August 9, 2010 (UTC)

All we needed is patience and I think it's finally paid off with this! If you progress to 2:28 min. in this Dev Diary. You'll actually see ingame graphics of a fight at the Pantheon. However... There's no sight of Cesare. At least I can't see them. So in my opinion we can mention the attack, yet we shouldn't mention anything of Cesare until we have clear proof that he's also present. Altaïr 19:23, August 11, 2010 (UTC)

The doctor[edit source]

hey was was wondering if u or any other of the administrators could set up some kind of vote for what the doctors special move should be called, i mean we see about 3-4 changes a day just changing the name of the move.DBlade 23:17, August 2, 2010 (UTC)

Don't worry DBlade, it's just one persistent user changing it to something he likes and reverts it all the time if someone changes it to a more better and preferable name... :D Thief 05:29, August 3, 2010 (UTC)

I think the solution to that problem is simple: do not give the name a move. We don't even know if the moves have names. -- Master Sima Yi 13:47, August 3, 2010 (UTC)

Hey, D. Cello and myself are working to fix up the Wiki's IRC Channel. Whenever you get the chance, try to stop by the channel and register yourself a nick so that I can give you your Operator rights ;) When you have completed the registration procedure, or if you are already registered on IRC with a nick, just leave me a note on my talk page, telling me your registered nick ;) Thanks! --Piratehunter (TalkContribs) 22:09, August 4, 2010 (UTC)

The whole point was to get your registered nick so that I could give you channel rights, not to tell me that you had a registered nick, XD. "just leave me a note on my talk page, telling me your registered nick" Okay? And the channel isn't very active for a number of reasons, of which I am fixing as per the moment. But yes, it doesn't really matter to me if you've a registered nick, unless I know what that nick is. XD --Piratehunter (TalkContribs) 16:58, August 5, 2010 (UTC)

Okay, first off: the nick you just gave me (Altair-1191 A.D) contains a period (.), which is an illegal handle character for IRC, or at least Freenode, so it cannot be a nick. Secondly, because I thought maybe that was just a simple no-problem mistake, I tried: Altair-1191_AD, Altair-1191AD, Altair-1191, Altair_1191_AD, and Altair_1191AD. None of those nicks are registered on Freenode. One that is however, is the nick simply: "Altair". My question is whether that is you. Because the Nick you gave me is invalid (for a lack of better terms) :/ --Piratehunter (TalkContribs) 18:12, August 5, 2010 (UTC)

Question about Templates[edit source]

Sir, I have a question regarding the templates: How do I make the codes official like this one? WarClownWanna Talk? 14:34, August 6, 2010 (UTC)

You mean how do you make them or how do you insert them in an article? -- Altaïr 16:35, August 6, 2010 (UTC)
How to insert them in an article...without having to input the very long code --WarClownWanna Talk? 14:40, August 6, 2010 (UTC)
Just use this code for example for the first game without spacebars: { { AC } } -- Altaïr 16:43, August 6, 2010 (UTC)
No that's not what I meant. Check this page out. Refer to the very bottom, and you'll see a navigation template that is written in code. Now, my question is, how do I turn that chunk of code into an official template (into something like the link I pointed out) ? --WarClownWanna Talk? 14:49, August 6, 2010 (UTC)

Wow, it's most impressive. - Duelisttri 15:00, August 6, 2010 (UTC)

Grazie for the complement :D --WarClownWanna Talk? 15:05, August 6, 2010 (UTC)

I'm afraid I can't help you there. I think D.Cello knows someone who can make them for the Wiki, so you'll have to ask him. I've looked up information on it in this wiki itself but it doesn't reveal much: link -- Altaïr 17:08, August 6, 2010 (UTC)
Ah, Alright, I'll just go ask him directly. Thanks for the help though :D --WarClownWanna Talk? 15:13, August 6, 2010 (UTC)

Removing a category[edit source]

Sir, after a simple edit on the Hunt on Cyprus article, the activity feed showed an addition of categories, adding the article to the Templates category. I can't seem to remove said category. Please Help :D --WarClownWanna Talk? 13:13, August 8, 2010 (UTC)

I tried to remove it by deleting the page and recreate it. Later I found out that every article under Major Events has the same category. It must be a default category that is added to certain articles, such as the articles of major events. So whatever happened it can't be because of your edit, but something of the Wiki itself. Altaïr 19:19, August 8, 2010 (UTC)
I just went on to check the whole category problem, and it was the timeline template. War forgot to add the noinclude tag and the template added all pages it was put under that category. If that was done for badges, HEADS WILL ROLL!! Arrrrr! -- D. Cello 18:56, August 8, 2010 (UTC)
I..had...no idea :O
OH THE SHAME!!!!! I'm so sorry! I feel terrible....--WarClownWanna Talk? 13:36, August 9, 2010 (UTC)

I think D.Cello was being funny. Just a mistake, but if you look at other contributors such as shapeshifter. I mean how many changes to the timeline, and almost all irrelevant to AC did he do. Like 10 I believe. Most about the construction of a building that appears in ACII. That was definately just for badges. I edited it once just to get them out of there. Altaïr 15:49, August 9, 2010 (UTC)

All I ask is for forgiveness :D and another thing to ask, why did my edit count shrink? I had about 910, now its back to 888. What happened? Not that it matters, but just out of curiosity. --WarClownWanna Talk? 13:57, August 9, 2010 (UTC)

Why you modify everything i made?

Ok you have completely the right for cheking my modifications

Thank you altair

Sorry, I don't know what this is about, or who you are. Could you please sign your posts. Altaïr 19:14, August 8, 2010 (UTC)

Me being funny? When did I do that?
And no idea, War oO -- D. Cello 17:17, August 9, 2010 (UTC)

You're actually going to give War some "spanking", because of this mistake? lol. I thought that was the joke. lol Altaïr 19:20, August 9, 2010 (UTC)

Not War, actually... I can't believe I've never asked this yet, but... War, do you have a sister? XD -- D. Cello 17:57, August 9, 2010 (UTC)
.........I heard "Arrrrrr"... O_O --Piratehunter (TalkContribs) 19:33, August 9, 2010 (UTC)
LOL, War, mate. Just take it easy. XD.
Also, hot damn. Just about every error about the edit counts and points always happens to War, I feel bad for him. lol. But atleast he has those lucky 1,000th edit medals backing him. :D Thief 22:16, August 10, 2010 (UTC)

What does it take to become a moderator[edit source]

hi altiar i wanna help with this wiki, i plan on on cleaning up any mess i find, add this people might have missed, or just help out, so what does it take to become a moderator? (Megahypernova 15:31, August 10, 2010 (UTC))

Basically best is not to ask about becoming either a moderator or an admin, cause that would just push us against the idea of you becoming one. At this point I think we have enough admin anyway from what I've read. If you prove yourself to be a good asset and you are very good in your activity on this wiki, then you will be approached to join the Istruttori, which basically are the moderators of this wiki. So remember: Don't ask, just prove your worth and you might be asked to join. -- Altaïr 18:07, August 10, 2010 (UTC)
If you want to be recognised more for your actions, or become a rank other than a simple user, I suggest you join a group. Thief 22:07, August 10, 2010 (UTC)
Well I'm #2 on the wiki, but I never ever want to become a mod, on this wiki or any other wiki or forum, because I'm afraid I won't good at my job. And by "become a rank other than a simple user", Thief means make it to the top 20. - Duelisttri 09:41, August 11, 2010 (UTC)
yes i am attempting to make the top 20 but i have to surpass 250 points to do so, it will be a while before i join your ranks :) Megahypernova 09:48, August 11, 2010 (UTC)

Look, recognition and importance isn't measured in points. It's measured by knowledge. For example, someone had a billion points. A higher-up appoints him/her administrator. Someone asks said person for help, yet said person couldn't, due to the lack of knowledge. You soon learn that his contributions mostly consisted of random spacing in articles and constant addition of categories onto pages.

If you want to be a mod, prove it through your contributions. Not through points. --WarClownWanna Talk? 10:14, August 11, 2010 (UTC)

Btw, the badge Eagle's Nest said to make 500 edits on articles, but there is another Eagle's Nest said to make 1000 edits. Check Altaïr user page and fix the error, please. - Duelisttri 10:20, August 11, 2010 (UTC)

Who, me? --WarClownWanna Talk? 10:22, August 11, 2010 (UTC)
@Duel I didn't mean that, I meant just join a group and join the cause. :D Refer to War's comment, it's full of..knowledge. XD Thief 10:51, August 11, 2010 (UTC)

@Thief: I know what you mean, I just saying.

@War: I mean you, Cello or anyone can. - Duelisttri 10:58, August 11, 2010 (UTC)

Go tell D about it, I don't know how to. --WarClownWanna Talk? 10:59, August 11, 2010 (UTC)
how about changing the eagles nest's(1000) name to eagles flight, or is there already a badge called this? Megahypernova 19:15, August 12, 2010 (UTC)
Btw i just join the leaderboards! Megahypernova 01:40, August 13, 2010 (UTC)

Yes, there is already a badge called Eagle's Flight and good that you joined a group. -- Altaïr 9:14, August 13, 2010 (UTC)

How about "Eagle's Endurance" ? Megahypernova 15:44, August 17, 2010 (UTC)

Hi Altair! i was wondering why did you deleted the "Assassins Creed Botherhood Editions article.?? sorry I did something wrong???

If I did I apologize...

Greatings...AllyAuditore

If it's general information of the brotherhood game then it should be in the Brotherhood article that already exists. And please sign your posts. Altaïr 00:13, August 15, 2010 (UTC)

Ok, I got the idea, just for future reference, how about if you let me know first and then let me do the changes myself??? because I know you are an administrator but that was rude. (btw..if you put the info on the ACB, page...well is wrong....there's ONE MISSING...the doctor's edition...=D xoxo boys!!! Assessina AllyAuditore 16:14, August 16, 2010 (UTC)

Actually no, we decided that a picture of both Collector's editions is not required. One picture is sufficient. Altaïr 04:03, August 17, 2010 (UTC)

WHO decided? -- D. Cello 02:07, August 17, 2010 (UTC)

Actually just me, because I thought it was best for the article to not add too many pictures otherwise it would look too busy. You can always change it, if you disagree Marcello. Altaïr 14:45, August 17, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah.. don't say "we" when it's a "I" to avoid confusions XD
And about the collector's editions, since we aim to be as informative as possible, it would be nice to have pictures of all sets, just like we have on ACII article. -- D. Cello 15:20, August 17, 2010 (UTC)

I disagree on that. We have pictures of all editions, the collector's edition, auditore edition and codex edition. Should we really make the article that busy just because on one picture there's a different figure? You can't compare this to the black and white edition, cause the white edition, unlike the collector's edition lacks a lot of bonuses that the black edition has. And in the end we are informative cause it's mentioned in the text. Altaïr 23:16, August 17, 2010 (UTC)

Well, for me it was important, to be honest, I DON'T LIKE the Harlequin edition...is too scary ....that thing is almost alive!!!...and when I saw the Doctor's pic..I was fascinated by the tinny crazy spooky creeppy Doctor!!! SO Im pretty sure that there's others who feel the same way. and BTW there's not such thing as BUSY ARTICLE...because everything is important is just probably YOU KNOW TOO MUCH of the game or the story that you don't consider that "IMPORTANT" and for us (others) it is...that's why is an INFORMATIVE WEB PAGE!! I think!!! Xoxo Boyz!!! Assessina AllyAuditore 21:28, August 17, 2010 (UTC)

I suggest you keep your tone down. There's been a lot of articles I had picture removed such as Altaïr's itself cause there were too many picture on the article, which made it look too busy. What truly matters is more what is written, rather than the added pictures. The text is meant to be informative. The pictures serve to back-up what is written in the text or to depict what you can't write in a text. And drop the capitals and learn to write your signature properly!

@D.Cello... I do think there's another solution, cause like I said the picture looks out of place. So the best solution would be to combine pictures and with the text under it I think people can tell which edition is which. That way you have both editions displayed and it won't look out of place. -- Altaïr 23:36, August 17, 2010 (UTC)

Altair, Im sorry inf I make something to offend you!! that was not the intention...I just want to learn as much as I can about this... thanks...xoxo !!! Assessina AllyAuditore 22:17, August 17, 2010 (UTC)

It's no problem, but I'm from the mentality that you should respect each other as you want to be respected, so trying to talk someone down is not a good way. If someone of Admin position or higher as D.Cello corrects you, you can always ask why, but even if you disagree (such as you see with me and D.Cello) you have to accept that we try to improve the Wiki. And if you have suggestions they're always welcome. And yeah every member should make their signatures properly. If you edit this page, you can see the coding of my signature, so try to copy it and just replace my nickname (Altaïr) with yours, so it would look like this for example: "Allyauditore 0:32, August 18, 2010 (UTC)". That's what you should do with signing your posts. Anyway if you have more questions you can ask them to me or others like D.Cello. Just check the staff area, and you'll find the ones you can contact. Hope that this is a better start as we started of the wrong foot. -- Altaïr 00:35, August 17, 2010 (UTC)
Just try to add as most pictures as you can, and the ones that don't fit, put'em in a gallery. Do what you think is best ;D -- D. Cello 22:44, August 17, 2010 (UTC)

Well let's just leave it in there, cause I think it wouldn't be right, to put one of the pictures in the gallery without the other as they are related. Would make it seem one edition is more important than the other. Let's just leave it then. Or like I said we combine them. -- Altaïr 00:55, August 18, 2010 (UTC)

timing problem[edit source]

Hi Altair, me and my tinny problems again.. sorry...look I was very exciting the other day because I was going to earn the Novice bagde...and surprise for me...it seems that when I do my upgrades and all my things here.."the time" wasn't right..I'll explain...apparently here in San diego California are 8;12am and all my comments appear with a different time ..so it's a different day..i was looking for my awnser on the preferences ...but i can't figure it out what it is...thank you as always for your help... AllyAuditore 15:15, August 23, 2010 (UTC)

Should be fairly easy to adjust your time. You were on the right track. If you go to preferences you'll see several bars at the top. The first one being 'Profile options'. A few bit next to this bar is 'Date and time'. There you can make adjustments for where you live and that should correct the time on this wiki for you. But remember we don't improve this wiki for badges. Hope this helps. Altaïr 17:27, August 23, 2010 (UTC)

Yeap!! apparently it works...thanks!!! and nope...not for the badges...but it was like YEAH!!! nicee!!! me a Novice hahahaha...fun only.

thanks xoxoAllyAuditore 15:32, August 23, 2010 (UTC)

Problem report #36331[edit source]

Hi Altaïr, after deleting the article Saint Peter, please mark problem #36331 as fixed. Thank you. --Weas-El talk ) 22:41, August 23, 2010 (UTC)

It's already been deleted. Thanks though for reporting. -- Altaïr 00:45, August 24, 2010 (UTC)
Please read my last message again, the problem report is still "pending". ;-) --Weas-El talk ) 22:50, August 23, 2010 (UTC)
Checked it again. I marked it as 'fixed'. -- Altaïr 01:00, August 24, 2010 (UTC)

Blocked. Thx for reporting Altaïr 22:51, August 25, 2010 (UTC)

Altair..hi!!! well I just added a video to the weapons article...if you can check it out ..if you consider that is useless its ok!!!

see ya!!! xoxox AllyAuditore 16:04, August 26, 2010 (UTC)

No, it's helpful to see all weapons in action. Good edit. Listen you don't have to ask my approval every time you make an edit. As long as it is by the rules and as long as you don't get riled up if someone changes it. Altaïr 18:08, August 26, 2010 (UTC)
im learning remember!!! hahahaha I need the master's approval =D AllyAuditore 16:14, August 26, 2010 (UTC)

Notifying you of some Templates[edit source]

Good morning/afternoon/evening sir. I'm here to inform you of the recreated Warning templates, check on them on my talk page when you have the time. Arrivederci --WarClownWanna Talk? 14:02, August 27, 2010 (UTC) Good work. Looks good and will come in handy. Especially the absent one as I have a honeymoon in september in Firenze and Venice. I'll be crafting the name 'Ezio was here' in every building you see in ACII lol. Altaïr 16:52, August 27, 2010 (UTC)

Watch out for the guards then XD --WarClownWanna Talk? 15:18, August 27, 2010 (UTC)

Lol, I made the absent one, glad you like it. The Thief 02:13, August 28, 2010 (UTC)

I'm A Featured User....COOL!![edit source]

thanks to whoever added me to the featured users list, i didn't actually know i was appreciated on this wiki :) Megahypernova 11:18, August 29, 2010 (UTC)

Lol, I didn't even realise I was ranked 5th. Hah, awesome. :D, I think it sorts itself by users with the most edits, though. :) The Thief 11:40, August 29, 2010 (UTC)

Yes that list is automatically updated, and measures its user by edit count...which is the only reason you're higher than me, Thief XD --WarClownWanna Talk? 11:43, August 29, 2010 (UTC)
Yeah it happens by itself I think, or D.Cello does it, cause I can't edit the page. Altaïr 15:32, August 29, 2010 (UTC)

Profaity filter[edit source]

DoubleMatt 01:07, November 17, 2010 (UTC)

I just wanted to know if the assassin's creed wiki was a profaity filter

hello there fan of assassins cred like you it';s amazingthat your relative served the medici family tahts really cool and interesting i met a guy on skype who's a decendent of vlad tempes III aka vlad the impaler

Yeah I got a big book about him (about my ancestor and his connection to the Medici), it was an interesting read and you learn the Medici weren't any saints. There weren't really any good guys or bad guys when it came to the Medici and the Borgia. So the theory that my ancestor was actually a botanist. He knew a lot about plants, but they were through this plants very familiar with poisons they created for certain reasons, and you can guess why... -- Altaïr 17:00, June 24, 2011 (UTC)
