Saladin would've been dead by the time of Qulan Gal and Ghengis Khan. Its a cool idea but we have to look at History as well. I think it would be cool if they showed the razing of the Assassin fortress by Hulegu Khan as well as the disbandment of the Knights Templar by Pope Clement V. Showing how both organizations would eventually go underground.
