I believe that picture is of Aveline. I compared it to the picture of her on her wiki page, and they're wearing the same-colored shirt, and while they seem to be wearing different armor on top, the picture from the Uplay has at least one of Aveline's braids on the side, even down to what looks the red hair interlaced, so believe this is what Aveline looks like without her hat on, and since it's a snowy picture and that page seems to show just AC3 stuff, wouldn't this validate the other picture we have, of Aveline and Connor back-to-back in a snow enviroment, therefore (if it is Aveline) confirming her presence in AC3, just as Connor will be in Liberation?
