Sguis - your comment is sort of fighting a lost battle, a previous interview after Assassin's Creed II was released stated that "AC III will see Desmond become the ultimate assassin." They also stated that the Templars would not use firearms because Desmond is still valuable to them and they want him alive. The Assassins most likely wouldn't use them because their resources are very slim. They most likely wouldn't use vehicles either... seeing as that defeats the purpose of Assassin's Creed, draws too much attention to the Assassins, and leaves them vulnerable for being tracked. They even stated that AC was always meant to be a trilogy...
